GEORGE W. SHIEBLER, OF BROOKLYN, NEW YORK.
DESIGN FOR A HANDLE FOR SPOONS, 8w.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 19,499, dated December 17, 1889.
Application filed November 4, 1889- Berial No. 329,227. Term of patent '7 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, GEORGE W. SHIEBLER, a citizen of the United States, residing at Brooklyn, in. the county of Kings and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Handles of Spoons, Forks, 850., of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accom panying drawings, forming part thereof.
Figure 1 is a representation of the design of the ornamentation of the handle on one side thereof, and Fig. 2 is a representation of the ornamentation on the other side of the handle.
The leading feature of the design on the obverse side, Fig. l, is the representation of the leaves, flowers, and buds of a pink, grouped together as shown, and the leading feature of the design on the other or reverse side, Fig. 2, is the representation of the flowers, leaves, and stem of a passion flower ad jaeent to each other, as shown.
What I claim is- 1. In a design for the handle of a fork or spoon, the design of the obverse side, substantially as represented.
2. In a design for the handle of a fork or spoon, the design of the reverse side, substantially as represented.
3. The design for a fork or spoon handle, substantially as herein shown and described.
