DESIGN FOR A PANEL.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design I-To.16,230 dated September 8, 1885.

Application filed July 18, 1885 To all whom, it may concern.-

Be it known that I, FREDERICK MANKEY, of \Villiamsport, Lycoming county, Pennsylvania, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Panels, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying photograph, forming part hereof.

My design consists in a central elevation, A, in the form of a parallelogram, and having rounded sides, as shown. Parallel and adja cent to opposite sides of the elevation A, and disposed transversely to the panel, are two se' ries of raised bars, B, each bar having a rou nded upper surface and beveled ends. Said bars are disposed transversely the panel,wit-h narrow channels or spaces 0 between them.

My design is intended for the ornamentation of panels in doors, wainscots, &o.

The design for a panel, substantially as herein shown and described, consisting in the central rectangular elevation, A, having rounded or curved sides placed between two series of raised bars, B, disposed parallel to opposite 25 sides of said elevation, the said bars having upper rounded sides and beveled ends and extending transversely the panel, with narrow intermediate channels or spaces, 0.
