Be it known that I, FREDERICK MANKEY, of \Villiamsport, Lyconiing county, Pennsylvania, have invented and produced a new and original design forthe Surface Ornamentation of \Valls,&c.. of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying photographs, forming part hereof.
Figure 1 is a plan view of a panel upon which is shown my new design. Fig. 2 is a longitudinal section of the same. Fig. 3 is a modification of my design.
Similar letters of relerem-c indicate like parts.
My design consists of a series of elevations, A, of uniform size, arranged in rows side by side diagonally across the panel. Each elevation is shown with a quadrangular base portion surmounted by a pyramid. The said elevations are separated by channels 13, formed diagonally across the panel in one direction, and channels Term of patent 7 years.
(J, formed diagonally across the panel in the opposite direction. lhe said channels are rectangular in cross-section. The said elevations may be in the form of rectangles, as represented in Fig. 1, orot' diamonds, as represented in Fig. 3.
I claim Ihe design for surface ornamentation of walls, (110., herein shown and described, the same eonsisti ng of elevations A,caeh elevation having a raised quadrangular base portion and a pyramidal upper portion, the said elevations being of uniform size and disposed side by side diagonally across the saidsurface in regu lar rows, with intermediate channels, B and G, of rectangular cross-section.
