DESIGN FOR Ay COOKING-STOVE.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 13,607, dated February 13, 1883.

Application tiled December 30, 1882.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that we, H. CLAY BASCOM and Crans A. HoDGEs, citizens of the United States, residing in the ctyof Troy, in the county of Rensselaer and State of New York, havejointlyinvented and produced a new and original Design for Cooking-Stoves, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying cut, print, or enio graving of a cookingstove having said new design.

The design for the compound panel ornament A consists of the outer border molding, a, having four straight sides and concave cor i5 ners, in combination with and surrounding a compound ornament consisting of the central circular ornamentation, b, lateral scroll ornaments c, and top and bottom ornaments, d, all shaped and arranged together substantially as 2o shown in the accompanying print.

The design for the panel-borders B B B2 B3 consists of the inner vine ornamented edging, e, outer edging,f, and the intervening portion, y, having the connected series of outwardly directed ornaments h and intermediate ornaments, z', all shaped and arranged together substantially as shown in the aforesaid cut.

The design for the oven-door O consists of the compound panel ornament A, composed 3o as above specified, in connection with the or namental border B, composed as above described, and all shaped and arranged together substantially as shown in the aforesaid engraving.

The design for the door D consists of the compound central ornament, A', in combination with the ornamental border B', all composed, shaped, and arranged together substan tially as represented in the aforesaid print.

The design for the oblong panel E consists ofthe compound ornamental border B2, formed as above specified, and the inner oblong compound ornament j, all shaped and arranged together substantially as shown in the aforesaid cut.

The design for the door or panel F consists oftheouter compound border, B3, composed as above specified, and the inner compound ornament, k, all shaped and arranged together Term of patent 7 years.

The design for the main front portion of the sides of the stove consists of the doors or panels C and F, all shaped, ornamented, and arranged on the plate G so as to present substantially the same appearance as is represented in the aforesaid print.

The design for the entire sident` the stove consists of the doors G and D and panels E and F, all shaped, ornamented, and arranged 6o together upon the plates G and H so as to appear substantially as shown in the aforesaid engraving.

rlhe design for the upper front portion of the stove consists of the door I and panel J, all shaped, ornamented, and arranged together on the plate K so as to present substantially the same appearance as is represented' in the aforesaid cut.

The design for the front door, l, consists of 7o the upper section, L, having the ornamental border l, mica light-apertures m, and intermediate ornaments, n, in combination with the lower section, M, having the draft-openings o and the intervening ornaments, p, all shaped and arranged together substantially as shown in the accompanying print.

5. The design for the panel E, consisting of the parts BZ andj, composed, shaped, and arranged together as set forth.

6. The design for the panel F, consisting of the parts B3 and k, composed, shaped, and ar.- 95 ranged together as described.

7. The design for main front part ofthe side of the stove, consisting ofthe parts C, F, and
