To all whom it may concern Be it known that I, FREDERICK REUTER, of Brooklyn, in the count;' of Kings and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Fringe, of which design the following is a specification.

Between these two graduations of co1or-that is, at about the middle of the pendant-there is interposed a block or bar, D of a color different from that of the portions 1) and b, said block being preferably shaded or varied in depth of color from its center to each of its ends. The addition of an end swell or enlargement, b, of a different color from thatot' the portion b is optional, and will not affect the distinguishing characteristic of the design.
I claim- A design for fringe, consisting of pendants presenting a shading, graduation, or tinting of color from each end toward the center, and an interposed middle block or bar of a. difl'erent color, substantially as set forth.
