DESIGN FOR A MIRROR-FRAME.

To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that. I, WiLLnLM S. Knnrs, of Brooklyn, in the county of Kings and the State of New York, have originated and designed a Design for a Mirror-Frame; andl do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description of the same, reference being bad to the accompanying photographic iliustration, forming a part of this specification.
The photographic illustration herewith appended represents a front. view of a mirrorframe ornamented in accordance with my de- I or convenlcnce in describingthe design it may be divided into the ornamentation ot' the base, ornamentation of the side rails, and ornamentation of the cornice; and,for further convenience in describing the ornamentation of the base, the ornamentation of the center panel, side panels, and theintermediate panels of said base will be described separately.
The center panel of the base is represented at A, its side panels at B, and its intermediate panels at O. The said center panel is omnmented in relief with a molding, a, at the top of the same. Below said molding is a Gothic arch, b, flanked by Tolutes o. In a central position in the upper part of the said arch isa rosette, d, below which, in the lower part of the said arch, is pendent spreading leaf-woric c. Below the said leaf-work is a. molding, a, decorated with scallops and trefoiis.
The side panels B have each a bottom molding, f, and a top molding, f. Each of the said side panels 15 ornamented in relief with arabesque ornaments, as shownat g.
The intermediate panels 0 are each ornnmented with a bottom molding, and an nrabesque bracket, 1.
Each of the said side rails is ornamented in relief with a center panel, D, a truss, E, ands bracket, F.
The center pencil) is ornamented with a center piece, E'", decorated in the arabesque styleandin relief. Thesnid center panel is also ornamented with a lower end piece, E, decorated in the arabesque style and in relief. The said center panel is also ornamented with an upper and piece, E", decorated in the urnbesque style.
The truss E is ornamented in relief and in the arabesque style.
Each of the braclrctsF is dccoratedin relief by Moresque ornaments and flanked on the inside by a spandrei, j, decorated in the urn besque style and in relief.
The cornice is ornamented with end pieces G, a center piece, H and intermediate panels I, decorated as hereinaiber described.
The center piece H is decorated inlhe Ro mnnesque style, as shown.
The end pieces G are decorated in the era besq ue style.
The intermediate panels I are decorated in relief with a top molding, k, and a bottom molding, id, the intermediate space between the said moldings being occupied with urabeslque or Romanesque decorations, as shown at I claim- 1. The design for the center piece of the base of a mirror-frame, consisting of the top molding a, the Gothic arch b below the said molding, roiutes c flanking thesaid arch the rosette pendent and spreading leaf-work if and e placed within the said arch, and the molding a, decorated with scallops and trefoils and placed below the said rosette nnd'leaf-work, substantially as described, and shown in the accompanying illustration.
2. The design for side panels for the base of a. mirror-frame, consisting of the upper and lower moidingsfg" and arabesque ornaments between the sai moldings substantially as described, and shown in the accompanying illustration.
3. The design for intermediate panels of the base of a. mirror-f 'ame, consisting of the lower molding It andjbearabcs ue bracketi, substantially as described, an shown in the accompauyin g illustration.
4. The design for the base of nmirror-fmmc, consisting of the center anel A side panels B, and intermediate pane s 0, each decorated, substantially as described, and shown in the accompan ing illustration.

The resign for the side rails of a mirrorframe, consisting oi the truss l), ornamented in arabcsquc style, the center panel I), ornamented with end pieces E E" and center piece 15' in arabcsque style, and the bracket F, ornamented i-n Moresque style and flanked by the spandrcl j, decorated in a-rabesque style, substantially as described, and shown in the accompanying illustration.

7. The design for the end pieces of the cornice of a mirror-frame, consisting of arabcsquc ornaments, substantially as described, and shown in the accompanying illustration.

The design for the cornice of a mirrorfraine, consisting of the center piece H, ornamented in the Romanesque style, the end pieces G, ornamented in a-rabesque style, and the intermediate panels I, ornamented with the upper moldings is, lower moldings k, and the intermediate arahesque or Romanesque ornameutations l, substantially as described, and shown in the accompanying illustration.

The design for a mirror-frame, consisting; of the center panel A, side panels B, and intermediate panels O 01 the base of the said frame, the trusses E, center panels I), and brackets F of the side rails of the said frame, the end pieces G, center piece H, and intermediate panels I oi the cornice of the said frame, each of the said ornamental parts being ornamented, substantially as described, and shown in the accompanying illustration.
