IMPROVEMENT IN REFLECTORS.

To all whom it may concem Be it known that I, EDWARD O. Bmnnsnnn,

of Waterbury, in' the county oi' New Haven, Connecticnt, have invented, made, and applied to use, certain Improvements in Reflectors for Lamps; and that the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, making part of this specification, and to the letters of reference marked thereon, n which-#- Figure 1 is a view. of my refiector, as applied to a Iamp-chimney.

Figure 2 is a top view of the reflector.

Figure -3 is a side elevation of the sam'e.

In the drawings, like parts of the invention are pointed out by the same Ietters of reference.

The natureof the present invention consists in' certztin improvements in the construction of refiectors for lamps, more particularly those in which kerosene oil is consumcd, the object of the invention being the production of a reflector which can be afi'orded to the consuiner at a iow cost. i

This wii-e O is bent or fcided at or about its centre, to edmit of its being so'idered or attached to the re flector, While for the rest of its length it is bent outwm'd, so as to form cnrved arms c, which embrace the chimney D, the elasticit-y of the wire allowing the arms to adjust themselves to chimneys of different circnmference.

Sueh being the construction, the reflector may he y ,have yet been coristructed as my present refiector is,

or provided with the means for hoiding the same to the chimney Having thus described my invention,
