`To all whom 'it'may concern.- y t Beit known that I, HAMILTON SHERMAN, of Taverly, in the county of Luzerne, and State of Ienn- Sylvania, have invented a newand improved Book- Holder; andl I do lhereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description thereof', which will enable others skilled in the art to make and-use the same, reference being `had to `the, accompanying drawings; forming partei'V this specification.

The object of tlis'invention is to provide a convenient, adjustable book-holder, for holding books in a `convenient positionfor reading.

A By means of the adjusting-slide H, the ends ofthe arms to which the clamping-bar is connected are adjusted to or from the lower edge of the table, and the said bar moved up or down! thereon for books having lmargins of greater or less breadth.
