TO ALL WHQMIT MAY CQNCERN:v l 1 Be it known that I, J. W. HQDGES, of Plymouth, in the .county of Hancocki'fand in the Staterof. Illinois, have inyented certain new' and usefulV Improvements in' Devicefor Binding Hay on the Reck; and do hereby i 'declare thatthe follow-ing'is a full, clear, and exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and the letters of referenc'evmarked thereon.

In the annexed drawings, making a part'of thisspecifcation, A represents a suitable base or frame, into which are framed the .posts or standards B B.

Having thus fully described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is- Thecombinn'tion of the t\ vo upright rack-bars B'B, the horizontal beam C., its pawls, g grwith `the lever D, its fulcrum h, w'ith the rack'A, all constructed and operating as herein set forth. p
