To ALL WHOM 1T MAY ooNoERN':
Be it known that I, ALMERON GRAVES, of Roscoe, in the county of Winnebago, and Stute of Illinois, have` invented certain useful Improvements inApparatus for Handling Animals in'Slaughtering; and I'do hereby declare the follovving to be afulhrclear, and exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to the letters of referencemarked thereon, and making a part of this specification, in Wbich- Figure 1 is a. perspective view of the apparatus.

Brepresents au .upright post, fastened at the bottom, as noted above, and secured by rods running from the'topthereof, and fastened to the ends of the timbers A. What I claim as my'invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is v f The application of the lever C D E, `the upright, B, the revolving apparatus represented by H H H H H H, supports I I I I I I, and the revolvingeaps E E, in apparatus for handling lanimals in slaughtering.
