Be it known that'I, RICHARD BUSH, of South Brooklyn, in the county of Kings, and State of New York, have invented a. new and useful Soap-Holder; and I do hereby declare that the following is a. full, clear, and exact description thereof, reference being had to the annexed drawings, making a. part of this specification, in whichv Figure l'is a front view of the device when shut.
Figure 2 is a. vertical section down through the middle, and
Figure 3 is the bottom piece.
2 shows most of the parts, to wit, the buck A, which may be of wood or other material; the box. B, open at the top and fastened to the back, as represented at F, or in an equivalent mode, the lump of soap resting inside, as indicated'in red. D is the linger-piece to operate the bottom, and E the spring spiral bottom and arm, pressing against the bottom; and iig. 3 the revolving bottom, with its axis G and holes H. The parts may be made of any suitable materials, and may slightly vary in form without varying the essential nature and construction of the device.
The nature of the invention consists in a. simple soap-holder that will let the soep dry, and let it conveniently fall into the hund by revolving the bottom. The construction and operation of the device are both so simple as to need no further description to enable those skilled in the art to make and use the seme.
What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, are- 1. The soap-holder, with the revolving bottom, substantially in the manner and for the purpose set forth.
2. The' whole Ydevice as an article of manufeoture, when constructed substantially in the manner and for the purposes set forth and described.
