Specification forming part ofLetters Patent No. 50,098, dated September 26, 1865.
To all whom it may concern Be it known that I, WILLIAM CONNER, of the city of NVilmington, in the county of New Castle and State of Delaware, have invented a newand useful Sash-Supporter; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full,
` vclear, and exact description ofthe construction and operation ofthe same, reference being had to the annexed drawing, making a part ot' this speoitication.
I construct this supporter, of brass or other metallic substance, as follows-that is to say, I provide a wedge-shaped box, a. 1n this I set a friction-wedge, I), with or `.rithout a block or piece of gum-elastic set in its faee,\vhich is suspended or kept in place by rneans of the This box I set with the frictionwedge b parallel to the sash, so as vto give vit play.
