To aliwhom it may concern p Be it known that I, FRANZ KREFN, of the city of St. Louis, in the State of Missouri, have invented a certain new`and useful Improvel ment in Tug0lips, ofwhich the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference beter position to the breast-strap ring.

A represents the pull-clip, which is secured to the tug B and haine C in the ordinary Way. Upon theouter portion of the eye D, which receives the haine-staple E, is formed a loop, F, which receives the breast-strap ring G. As

shown, this loop i's preferably made with a downward bend, so that the ring, when in its normal position, will be on or near a line with the end of the neck-yoke. When a breaststrap ring is thus secured in place itwill be seen 4that it will not rub, or the breast-strap or chain rub the hames or collar; also, in holding back a direct pull is had upon the tugs, and consequently upon the breeching of the harness.

I claiml. Atag-clip provided on the end thereof` with an eye, F, .to receive a breast-strap ring, substantially as set forth.

2. The combination of tug B, clip A, having eye D and loop F, ring G, hante U, and

staple E, all substantially as set forth.
