2. it .J'Ihere .has recently been developed a form which consists of-a plurality of like wall channel sections th'a't'are adapted to be positione'd one upon'the other and braced by suitable vertically positionedmembers to thereby provide wall forms between which. concrete can be poured. l The vertical members, or studs, are adapted to be secured ate the horizontal sections that compose the wall form to prevent the horizontal members from falling inwardly. The fastening means or devices have not been wholly satisfactory for they require the placement of holes inithe variouswall sections through which boltsmay be placed to secure the assembled members in their proper position. :In- .thisiinvention the .prior use 'of'bolts Zand holes in the structuralmembers forming 'thefwall forms and studs are eliminated,"and a simple formed wire is provided to secure the horizontally. disposedgsections of the wall formto the vertical studs,-the wiref-astening devices being sufficiently resilient to allow for their easy insertion :and removal for assembly and disassembly of thevarious wall form members.

The footer may then provide a part of the support upon which thevertical wall forms rest.
The verticalwall forms consist of a plurality of channels I2 and [2a that are assembled one upon the other to any desired-height. -'-'Ihe channel sections I2, however, would fallinwardly relative to each other if they were not braced by suitable vertical studs, such as the studs I3 and HM. Each of the wall channels f 2 is provided with flanges I5 and I6 that extend along the lower and upper edge, respectively, of the channels. While there is disclosed the-use .of continuousflanges l5 and I6 along thewa'll sections I 2-, yet other protrusions can beprovided for the purpose of receiving and cooperating with the fastening devices, as will be apparent hereinafter. Each of the vertical studs l3 and I3a consists o'fapair of channels I! and [1a that are adapted .to bepositioned with the flat faces of the channel in adjacent relationship. 7 l r The; fastening device for holding the horizon;-

23 and 23a are of just sufficient length to equal the width of the face of the channels 11 and are then bent normal to themselves to form leg portions 24 and 24a so as to lay parallel to each other andparallelto the legs 22 and 22a of the fastening device. The legs 24-and 24a terminate in oppositely disposed hook portions 25 and 25a, that are adapted .toextend over the flanges Hi and 15 respectively of the Wall channels l2. From the foregoing description it will therefore be seen that the fastening device may be disposed with the hook portion 25 in'engagement with the upper flange [6 of the wall channel |2 so that the leg portions 24, 23 and 22 wraparound the vertical channel correspondingly, the hook portion 25a engages the lower flange [5 of the channel |2 with the leg portions 25a, 23a and 22a'wrapped around the channel Ila. The vertical leg portion 2| spaces the twowrap-around I portions of the fastening device at substantially the level of the upper and lower flanges.
One of the fastening devices 20 may b'e'used to hold-each of the wallchannels I2 in position against the vertical studs l3 and 13211 It will be apparent that there will be'requi'red no holes'or bolts to hold the assembly together.
With'the fastening devices 20 in position between the wall channels E2 and the studs I3, the wall channels |2 are prevented from falling away from the studs l3 and'the studs I3 are prevented from moving parallel to the wall channels l2. The resilient wire forms which provide the fastening devices of this invention therefore make'a rigid assembly of the wall channels l2 to the vertical studs l3. j
, While the device described and disclosed herein constitutes a preferred form of the invention, yet it may be modified without departing from the spirit of theinvention, and all such modifications are intended to be included in the appended claims.-
'Having thus fully described my invention, what I' claim as new-and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is: Q

In combination, a structural member com prising. a pair of substantially parallel individual members, a second structural member disposed against said first structural member and normal to a parting line between the individual members comprising the first structural member, and a fastening device securing all of said structural members together consisting of a leg portion disposed-between the individual members comprising said first structural member, loop portions extendingv in the same direction from eachof-opposite ends of said leg portions but in opposite directions relative to each other and extending around the =respective individual members form'- ing said first mentioned structural member, said loop portions being disposed in substantially paralleliplanes and having leg portions extending toward said second structural member and arranged in the plane of their respective loop portions substantially parallel to each other, said last-mentioned leg portions having loop portions extending therefrom engaging said second structural member whereby to secure the fastening device thereto and. to secure said structural mem bers together.
4. In combination, a structural member comprising a pair of substantially parallel individual members, a second structural member disposed against said first structural member and normal to a'parting line between the individual members comprisin the first structural member, and 'a fastening device 1 securing all of said structural members together consisting of; a leg portion dis posed between-the individual memberscomprising said 'first' structural member, loop portions extending in the same direction from each of opposite endsof said leg-portions but in opposite ditive leg portions and laying in substantially parallel planes substantially normal to the planes of said first mentioned loop portions.

A fastening device consisting of, a leg portion, a U-shaped loop portion extending from each end of the leg portion in the same direction therefrom but in opposite directions relative to each other, said loop port-ions laying in planes at each end of said leg portion substantially parallel to each other and substantially normal to the said leg portion, each of said loop portions having a leg portion laying in the plane of the respective loop portion, said last-mentioned leg portions being disposed in substantially parallel relationship in their respective planes and each terminating in a, U-shaped 100p portion, said lastmentioned loop portions extending in opposite directions relative to each other from their respective leg portions and positioned substantially normal to the said plane of the said respective leg rections relative to each other, said loop portions laying in planes at each end of said leg portion substantially parallel to each other and substantially normal to the said leg portion, each of said loop portions having a leg portion laying in the plane of the respective loop portion, said last-mentioned leg portions being disposed in substantially parallel relationship in their respective planes and each terminating in a U- shaped loop portion, said last-mentioned loop portions extending in opposite directions relative to each other from their respective leg portions.
