What I claim is z 1. In combination in a device of the character described, a sign-holding member adapted to extend around and be supported by a lamp or lantern, said member having means for supporting a plurality of separate indicia-carrying elements and a flexibleand adjustable member extending along said sign-holding member for holding said elements in position in said sign-holding member.

2. In combination in a device otthe character described, a sign-holding member adapted to be applied to and supported by a lamp or lantern, said member having an annular support to receive individual indicia display. elements and a flexible ring member connected to said sign-holding member and adjustable so as to bear against said elements to hold them in position in said sign-holding nular support provided with a groove to receive individual indicia display elements, and a flexible ring member connected to said sign-holding member and adjustable so as to bear against said elements and hold them in position and permit their ready removal from said sigimholding member.

An attachment and sign display device for lamps comprising an annular band member adapted to be placed about said lamps having a body portion p'rovidedwitha plurality of openings to permit the display of information, therethrough, a top annular member extending inwardly from said body portion and a flange extending upwardly from the inner edge of said annular memher, said band having a bottom portion provided with aflange, extending upwardly from the inner edge thereofto form a recess to receive the sign display units, a holding member. connected to said band and positioned adjacent said top member and'provided with adjusting means whereby it may be moved to permit the insertion and removal of the sign display unitsp 6.
