Be. it known that we, GEORGE D. WERNLI and WILLARD M. Wnnsrna, both citizens'of the United States, residing at Los Angeles, in the county of Los Angeles and State of California, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Sanitary Folding Comfort Chairs, of which the following is a specification.

()ur invention relates to comfort chairs, and the objects are first, to provide a sanitary chair with a renewable chute when same is soiled; second, to construct a sanitary chair that will hold detachable side walls; third, to'provide a folding chair for comfort stations.

Further objects are to provide portable comfort chairs that are simple in construction and easy to replace the parts thereof.

Referring to the drawings Figure 1 represents a perspective view of our chair with the housings removed.

Figure 2 represents a perspective view of Figure 1 when folded with the chute and housing removed. I

Figure 3 is a fragmentary view of the hanger for the said chute.

Figure 4 is a perspective view as in Figure 1, with the housing attached in profile.

Figure 5 represents a perspective view of a tapered chute for Figure 1.

Referring to the drawing in which like characters of reference designate similar parts, the chair 1 is of apredetermined rectangular shape to suit a chute 18, and is constructed with folding legs 5, 5 and 6, the said folding legs 5 and 5 being held flush with one another on the two sides of the legs 6 by suitable pairs of bent clips 7, and are hinged together by the joints 22, the braces 10' and 11 are secured between the lower ends of the said legs 6 and 5 respectively, and the bars 8 and 9 are secured on the upper ends of the legs 5 and 6 respectively, the eyes 12, 13, 14 and 15 being secured horizontally from the outer ends of the said bars 8 and 9, and the braces 11 and 10 respectively, the seat-3 is of a flexible material and is reinforced by the bands 23 thereunder, the said seat 3 and bands .13 are secured on the bars 8 and 9 between the said legs 5 and 6, and are of a sufficient length 1923.
