In using such Va trunk, it is not uncommon for vthe owner to leave the main sections open in his hotel room, though it is desirable to have th drawer sections locked. v

The principal object of my invention,

therefore, is to provide a cheap, simple and yet durable lock which vmay bev quickly manipulated and which will hold the several drawers in propenposition in the trunk sec-v tion.

To the accomplishment of this. object, my invention consists in the devices andA com'- bination of devices hereinshown and described,and particularly set forth in the appended claims. Y

-Itis obvious that slight modifications may be made inthe details of construction. For example, the stiirup'plate D is shown in Figs. 1 and 2 as located near the top ot the lower drawer 1, whereas ot course it may be located near the bottom or be secured to the bottom wall 22 ofthe trunk section A. Likewise, the plates E may or may not be used, as desired, or any number may be used. Similarly, the shape of the upper end of the lock bar F may be varied to suit the kind of lockemployed or the ydesign and configuration of the liasp 18. I therefore do not desire my invention limited to the preciseA construction illustrated and de-4 scribed, .except as may be pointed out in the claims. y j
