bloomer 22. The waist 20 is open at the back and thus overlapping flaps 23 and 24 are provided adapted to be fastened together bysultable fastening devices 25 such as buttons and buttonholes.v The waist 20 s further provided with a waistband havmg a front portion 30 and a back ortion formed of two members 31 and 32, 0 which the member 31 formsan integral part of the front portion 30 while the member 32 is fastened at its upper edge by stitches 33 to 20 and to overlie the tion 30 of the waist 20 is provided with buttons 40; buttons 41 are attached to the rear member 31; and back buttons 42 and slde buttons 43 are attached to the rear member 32.
The bloomer 22 is provided with the usual bloomer legs and with a front waistband 51, and a back sanitary flap 52 having a back waistband 53. The front waistband 51 is provided with buttonholes 54 engaging .the buttons 40 at the front waistband portion 30. The waistband flap 52 is engaging member 31 of the waist 20, and the said waistband 53 is provided with narrower side buttonholes 56 engaging the side buttons 43, as previously mentioned. and the rear buttonholes 64 are adapted to engage the buttons 42-on the outer waistband member 32 of the waist 20 V (See Fig. 8). Hence lt-Wlllbe seen that the front portion of the waistband 61 overlies the portion 51 of the bloomer 22,
front waist and the rear portion of the said waistband 61 overlies the waistband portion 32 of the waist 20. From the foregoing it will be seen that the dress 21 is supported from the waist 20.
The sanitary flap 52 is detachably connected with the waist 20 wholly independent of the front portion of the bloomer or the skiit 21 and hence the said sanitary flap 52 can be opened or closed without disturbing the fastening devices used for connecting the front of the bloomer with the waist 20 or the fastening devices connecting the skirt 21 with thewaist, 20.
