IMPROVEMENT iN LAMP-BRACKETS Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 132 755, dated NCVtIlbC 5, 1 872.

` To all whom it may concew:

Be it known that we, ALEXANDER F. YOUNG- and JosEPH F. FOOTE, of Mystic Bridge, in the county of New London and State of Connecticnt, have invented certain Improvements in LanpBrackets or Stands, of which the following is a, specifieation:

The object oi' our invention is to have for the use of performers on musical instrunents, and others a ltmp bracket or stand, which can be adjusted so as to place the light in a desire'd position, and so eonstructed as to allow, when not in use, of its being folded and inclosed in the instrument or drawer to which it may be attnched, and yet retain the bracket in its place. These movements are accomplished by the application and use of zt hingejoint and pivot-joint, as shown in the drawing.

We claim' as our improvement- In lamp-brackets, the arrangement of the curved arin G, stand B, pivot and socket Gr, F, and D, in combination with box A, as shown and described.
