This invention relates to systems for removing dust from and for purifying air, and more particularly to standards or tables, upon which dust laden material is handled, forming a part of such systems through which dust is carried away from the surrounding air.
In' factories where twine is manufactured "a great deal of dust from the fiber or 'material from which twine is made is liberated. This .dust permeatesthe air, making working conditions in such factories not only undesirable but .injurious tohealth.
It, therefore, is the. object of. this invendust/ from the materials handled in such factories and to purify theI air. This object is accomplished by providing in `suitable standards or tables upon which dust laden material is handled, 'andmeans Not only will the dust .be carried. away-from material directly on top ofthe table, but any dust which surrounds the table will be for conveying away the dust.

The various novel features of my invention will be apparent from the description and drawings and will be particularly pointed out in the lappended claims.

By referring to Fig. 4 it will be 4noted that the perforated topl the edges of the Side members and clamped legs 22 for supporting the' in a fixed position'by-.a metalfstrip 23 passing around the periphery of the table and screws 24 passing throughv said strip23 and 1 10 side members.: In one side of the `upper body portion of the table are two doors 25 slidably `mounted in .channel portions 26 formed by bending side portions of the table. These slides 25 are located opposite the funnel portions 14 and are for the purpose of rendering it possible to remove any material from the' funnelsand conduit 15 7 which may tend to clog the passageways thereof. By means of this system it is possible to remove the dust from'material llandledintwine mills and to maintain the air in a pure condition,` thus avoiding any serious results which might otherwise be occasioned. l s f There may be various modifications of my invention as herein particularly described,-
