IM PROVED.DEVIOE FOR CUTTING WIRE OR CORD FROM BOTTLE-STOPPERS.

that, while one end -or portion of said lever is placed or rests against the neck of the bottle, the cutter or hook-portion takes hold of the fastening-wire, and, by a gentle pressure of the hand upon the extended portion of the lever, the cord or wire will be out or displaced from the stopper.
The object of this invention is to remove .the irkv someness of removing or displacing the binder by the fingers, whereby the lingers are often cut, and of'tener rendered very painful.
In the accompanying drawinga represents a bottle, having its stopper confined by a cord or wre in the common way.

' A new article of manuliicturqa device for removing the fastening-cord or wire from a bottle-stopper, constructed as shown and set forth.
