T all whom it may concern:

Beit known that I, ADONIJAH H. Pnoeron, of Galesburg, in the county of Kalamazoo and State of Michigan, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in VVash-boiler'Attachments; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to the letters of reference marked thereon, which form a part of this specification.

The nature of my invention consists in the couboilers, which can be used in any-sized boiler, as will be hereinafter fully set forth.

In order to enable others skilled in the art towhich my inventionappertains to make and use the same, I` will now proceed to describe its construction and operation, referring to the annexed drawings, in which Figure l is-a perspective view of the attachment.

Arepresents a metal rim7 bent so as to tit inside of the end'of a wash-boiler, and extending halt' way its length, that is, to the center of the boiler. A

Two hars, B B, are putl across to hold the rim tog gether, but not enough to impede the water at all, as these bars are made of wire inclosed in tin, and can, consequently, be made quite narrow, but yet strong enough.

C is a tin plate over the end to press the water into the spout D, which runs through above the plate C I y about three inches; and onto the tin spout or pipe D is placed a curved pipe, E.

Two of thesegratelbotto'ms being made and placed in a wash-boiler, and the pipes E being movable, that is, can be turned around, the steam can be turned ou any part of the clothes desired, thereby washing more evenly than can be done in any other way.

lhe rim A at the ends ofthe 4boiler is made about .three inches high, and atthe center of the boiler only about one and a half inch h'i'gh, so that .the water at theends comes just to the top, and then runs down on the inclined plane. This dividesthewater, and

thereby supplies each segment at all times with its own water, so that there will be a continuous stream .from each spout.

Dividing my machine in two segments adapts it to dierent sized boilers.

Having thus fully described my invention,

What I claimas new, and desire to secure by Iletters Patent, ise- A wash-boiler attachment, constructed in two parts to be accommodated to dierent lengths of boilers, when said parts have sloping sides A A, ellipticat shaped plate G, ribs B B,'and spout D, all constructed and arranged as herein shown and described.
