Abstract

一種電連接器,其包括具有複數端子槽的絕緣本體及收容於所述端子槽內的複數端子;所述絕緣本體具有上表面與下表面,所述端子槽貫穿所述上、下表面;所述端子包括豎直板、彈性部以及焊接腳,所述彈性部設有接觸部;貼覆於所述彈性部的下表面而位於所述彈性部與所述絕緣本體的上表面之間設置有附加部。本發明的端子於其彈性部增加附加部,保證彈性部具有預定的機械性能的同時,能夠降低阻抗,從而克服高頻訊號傳輸過程諧振的不良影響。

Description

電連接器
本發明係關於一種電連接器,其用以供中央處理器(CPU)等晶片模組的安裝。
隨著大資料、雲計算、物聯網等概念的蓬勃發展,幾乎每個新產品都在談高速傳輸應用。各應用模組均朝向高速方向發展,以實現前面提到的高速傳輸應用,用來連接各個模組之間的輸入/輸出介面當然亦需要高速傳輸,比如現有USB Type C介面已經達到20Gbps,Thunderbolt介面則高達40Gbps。而作為電腦、伺服器等核心部份的中央處理器則朝向更高速、接腳更多的方向發展,用來連接中央處理器與主機板之間的電連接器則不能成為訊號傳輸的瓶頸。於實際高頻測試中,電連接器接腳的上頭彈性抵接中央處理器的導電墊片,下頭焊接至電路板。上頭一般為傾斜彈性的懸臂樑,以提供撓性機械特性,保證與中央處理器的接觸,因端子數量眾多,對機械性能要求很高,同時又要降低諧振等對高頻訊號產生不良作用的影響。
是以,確有必要提供一種新的電連接器,俾克服上述缺陷。
本發明所要達成之目的係提供一種電連接器,其於保證機械性能的前提下降低諧振等對高頻訊號的不良影響。
為解決上述技術問題,本發明提供一種電連接器,其包括具有複數端子槽的絕緣本體及收容於所述端子槽內的複數端子;所述絕緣本體具有上表面與下表面,所述端子槽貫穿所述上、下表面;所述端子包括固定於所述端子槽內的豎直板、自豎直板上緣彎折延伸出所述絕緣本體上表面的彈性部以及自豎直板下緣延伸的焊接腳,所述彈性部於其自由末端處設置有向上凸出的接觸部;所述端子進一步設置有附加部,所述附加部貼覆於所述彈性部的下表面而位於所述彈性部與所述絕緣本體的上表面之間。
相對先前技術,本發明的端子於其彈性部增加附加部,保證彈性部具有預定的機械性能的同時,能夠降低阻抗,從而克服高頻訊號傳輸過程諧振的不良影響。
以下,將結合圖示介紹本發明電連接器的具體實施方式。
請參第一圖至第五圖所示,本發明電連接器100用於連接中央處理器(CPU)等晶片模組(未圖示)至電路板(未圖示)。請參第一圖至第三圖所示,電連接器100包括具有複數端子槽11的絕緣本體10及收容於所述端子槽11內的複數端子20。所述絕緣本體10具有上表面101與下表面102,所述端子槽11貫穿所述上、下表面101、102。
所述端子20包括固定於所述端子槽11內的豎直板21、自豎直板21上緣彎折延伸出所述絕緣本體10的上表面101的彈性部22以及自豎直板21下緣彎折延伸的焊接腳23。所述彈性部22呈板狀,彈性部22於其自由末端處設置有向上凸出的接觸部221。端子20進一步設置有附加部25,附加部25貼覆於彈性部22的下表面,其位於彈性部22與絕緣本體10的上表面101之間。於本實施例中,附加部25自彈性部22的自由末端處反向彎折而貼覆於彈性部22的下表面。豎直板21包括第一固定部211、第二固定部212以及連接第一、第二固定部的連接部213,第一固定部211與第二固定部212彼此垂直。本處的豎直板21僅指端子該等部位大致呈豎直狀。彈性部22自第一固定部211的上緣一體延伸,焊接腳23自第二固定部212的下緣一體延伸。結合第二圖的側視圖,可以看出,水平狀的焊接腳23位於端子槽11內,位於所述絕緣本體10下表面102的上方,如此,焊球(未圖示)在於焊接於焊接腳23時可以容納於端子槽11內,被端子槽11的內壁面輕微干涉而作定位。
結合第四圖、第五圖所示,板狀的彈性部22定義有寬度方向(第四圖中的雙箭頭所示)及延伸方向(第二圖所示的雙箭頭方向),第四圖顯示了端子20的俯視圖,從圖中可以看出,彈性部22的寬度自其與豎直板21連接的根部向其自由末端呈縮小狀,於鄰近接觸部221處驟然減小。再結合第五圖,第五圖顯示了端子20的仰視圖,附加部25則完全覆蓋彈性部22。所以於寬度方向上,附加部25與彈性部22對齊或者大於彈性部。結合第二圖,可以看出於延伸方向上,附加部25向下延伸且位於所述絕緣本體10的上表面101的上方。接觸部221的寬度保持不變,於對應接觸部221處,所述接觸部221與附加部25彼此完全重合。
本發明的附加部25於保證彈性部22具有預定的機械性能時,同時降低了整個端子20阻抗,使其達到預定阻抗值,如此一實現高速訊號傳輸的需求。

Claims (9)

  1. 一種電連接器,其包括: 絕緣本體,係定義有上表面與下表面,以及設置貫穿所述上、下表面的端子槽;以及 端子,係收容於所述端子槽內,所述端子包括固定於所述端子槽內的豎直板、自豎直板上緣彎折延伸出所述絕緣本體上表面的彈性部以及自豎直板下緣延伸的焊接腳,所述彈性部於其自由末端處設置有向上凸出的接觸部; 其中,所述端子還設置有附加部,所述附加部貼覆於所述彈性部的下表面而位於所述彈性部與所述絕緣本體的上表面之間。
  2. 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之電連接器,其中所述附加部自所述彈性部的自由末端處反向彎折而貼覆於彈性部的下表面。
  3. 如申請專利範圍第2項所述之電連接器,其中所述彈性部呈板狀,其定義有寬度方向及延伸方向,所述附加部於寬度方向上與所述彈性部對齊或者大於所述彈性部;於延伸方向上,所述附加部向下延伸且位於所述絕緣本體的上表面的上方。
  4. 如申請專利範圍第1項或第3項所述之電連接器,其中所述豎直板包括第一固定部、第二固定部以及連接第一、第二固定部的連接部,所述彈性部自第一固定部的上緣一體延伸,所述焊接腳自第二固定部的下緣一體延伸。
  5. 如申請專利範圍第4項所述之電連接器,其中所述第一固定部與第二固定部彼此垂直。
  6. 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之電連接器,其中所述彈性部的寬度自其與豎直板連接的根部向其自由末端呈縮小狀,於鄰近所述接觸部處驟然減小。
  7. 如申請專利範圍第6項所述之電連接器,其中所述接觸部的寬度保持不變。
  8. 如申請專利範圍第7項所述之電連接器,其中所述附加部於對應接觸部觸處與接觸部完全重合。
  9. 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之電連接器,其中所述焊接腳呈水平狀,其位於所述端子槽內且位於所述絕緣本體下表面的上方。
