Abstract

本發明揭示了一種卡緣連接器,定義有對接方向及對接面,該卡緣連接器包括絕緣本體及固持於該絕緣本體之複數導電端子,所述絕緣本體定義有縱長方向及沿縱長方向延伸之中央插槽,該中央插槽貫穿所述對接面,所述導電端子設有固持於所述絕緣本體的固定部、自固定部延伸的彈性接觸臂及延伸出絕緣本體的焊接部,所述彈性接觸臂設有凸伸入中央插槽之接觸部,所述複數導電端子包括沿縱長方向相鄰設置的兩對差分訊號對端子及位於該兩對差分訊號對端子之間的至少一個接地端子,所述兩對差分訊號對端子的接觸部比所述接地端子的接觸部更靠近對接面。

Description

卡緣連接器
本發明涉及一種具有差分訊號對端子的卡緣連接器。
卡緣連接器廣泛應用在計算機上,用於電子卡的插接實現增加計算機的存儲量。隨著電子行業的快速發展,計算機更加需要能夠傳輸高速訊號的卡緣連接器。卡緣連接器上設有複數接地端子和用於傳輸差分訊號的複數差分訊號對端子。接地端子和差分訊號對端子共同排成一排。然而,當電子卡插入卡緣連接器時,卡緣連接器的差分訊號端子對之間容易產生較高的諧振,這會影響卡緣連接器上高速訊號傳輸的穩定性。
是故,確有必要設計一種加以改良之卡緣連接器以克服先前技術中之缺陷。
本發明之目的在於提供一種有利於降低在傳輸高速訊號時差分訊號對端子之間諧振的卡緣連接器。
為了達成上述目的,本發明採用如下技術方案:一種卡緣連接器,定義有對接方向及對接面,所述卡緣連接器包括縱長絕緣本體及固持於所述絕緣本體之複數導電端子,所述絕緣本體定義有縱長方向及沿所述縱長方向延伸的中央插槽,所述中央插槽貫穿所述對接面,所述導電端子設有固持於所述絕 緣本體之固定部、自所述固定部延伸之彈性接觸臂及延伸出所述絕緣本體之焊接部,所述彈性接觸臂設有凸伸入所述中央插槽之接觸部,其中,所述複數導電端子包括沿所述縱長方向相鄰設置的兩對差分訊號對端子及位於該兩對差分訊號對端子之間的至少一個接地端子,在所述對接方向上,所述兩對差分訊號對端子的接觸部比所述接地端子的接觸部更靠近所述對接面。
相較於先前技術,本發明卡緣連接器具有如下功效:本發明卡緣連接器中差分訊號對端子的接觸部比接地端子的接觸部更靠近所述絕緣本體的對接面,使得該卡緣連接器與電子卡對接時,差分訊號對端子先於接地端子接觸電子卡,從而可降低相鄰兩對差分訊號對端子之間的諧振,進而改善卡緣連接器的高速訊號傳輸品質及可靠性。

下面結合圖式來詳細說明本發明卡緣連接器之具體實施方式。
請參考第一圖所示,本發明卡緣連接器100用於安裝在一母電路板(未圖示)上供電子卡(未圖示)進行插接。所述卡緣連接器100包括沿縱長方向延伸之縱長絕緣本體1以及複數固持於所述絕緣本體1之導電端子2。
請參閱第二圖所示,所述絕緣本體1設有縱長的中央插槽10及對接面111,所述中央插槽10位於第一側壁11、第二側壁12之間且沿所述縱長方向延伸,所述中央插槽10貫穿絕緣本體1之對接面111。所述第一側壁11設有複數沿縱長方向排成一排的第一收容槽110,所述第二側壁12設有一排與所述第一收容槽相平行的複數第二收容槽120,所述第一、第二收容槽110、120在橫向方向上分別與所述中央插槽10連通。所述絕緣本體1進一步設有位於所述中央插槽10縱長方向一端的用於連接所述第一側壁11與所述第二側壁12之端壁13,所述中央插槽10縱長方向另一端則貫通所述絕緣本體1,從而與外部連通。所述第一、第二側壁11、12以及所述端壁13在臨近所述對接面111處均設有面向所述中央插槽10之導引面112。所述中央插槽10內形成有臨近所述端壁13之鍵扣14,所述鍵扣14可防止電子卡的誤插。所述鍵扣14在靠近所述對接面111的一端設有導引斜面141,所述導引斜面141、導引面112均有利於所述卡緣連接器100與電子卡的插接。
請參閱第二圖至第五圖所示,所述每一導電端子2設有固持於所述第一、第二收容槽110、120上之固定部24、自所述固定部24向上延伸之彈性接觸臂25以及自所述固定部24向下延伸出所述絕緣本體1用以焊接在母電路板上之焊接部26,所述彈性接觸臂25設有一凸伸入所述中央插槽10的接觸部251,所述接觸部251用於與電子卡插接匹配。所述導電端子2包括一排收容於所述第一側壁11內的第一排導電端子21及一排收容於所述第二側壁12內的第二排導電端子22。在縱長方向上,所述第一排導電端子21與所述第二排導電端子22中各自相鄰兩所述焊接部26之間的間距基本相等。所述第一排導電端子21的固定部24沿縱長方向排成一排並位於同一平面內(定義為第一平面),所述第一排導電端子21的焊接部26則交替排列為兩排並分別位於所述第一排導電端子21的固定部24所在第一平面的兩側。同樣地,所述第二排導電端子22的固定部24也沿縱長方向排成一排並位於另一同一平面內(即第二平面),所述第二排導電端子22的焊接部26也交 替排列為兩排並分別位於所述第二排導電端子22的固定部24所在第二平面的兩側。
所述第一排導電端子21和所述第二排導電端子22分別包括相鄰設置的至少兩對用於傳輸差分訊號之差分訊號對端子27以及至少一個位於所述兩對差分訊號對端子27之間之接地端子28。在本實施方式中,所述相鄰設置的兩對差分訊號對端子27之間設有一對所述接地端子28,在所述對接方向上,所述兩對差分訊號對端子27的接觸部251比所述一對接地端子28的接觸部251更靠近所述絕緣本體1的對接面111,且在所述對接方向上,所述兩對差分訊號對端子27之接觸部251均位於同一水平高度,所述一對接地端子28之接觸部251也都位於另一同一水平高度。在本實施方式中,所述對接方向即為所述卡緣連接器100的上下方向,在所述上下方向上,所述導電端子2的固定部24的上緣位於同一水平高度,所述兩對差分訊號對端子27的接觸部251位於同一水平高度並與所述固定部24的上緣之間的距離為第一高度H1,所述接地端子28的接觸部251位於另一水平高度並與所述固定部24的上緣之間的距離為第二高度H2,第二高度H2小於第一高度H1。即在所述上下方向上,所述兩對差分訊號對端子27的接觸部251位於所述一對接地端子28的接觸部251的上方。當所述卡緣連接器100與電子卡插接匹配時,電子卡先接觸所述兩對差分訊號對端子27,再接觸所述一對接地端子28,即所述兩對差分訊號對端子27先於所述一對接地端子28接觸電子卡,這樣可降低所述相鄰兩對差分訊號對端子27之間的諧振,進而改善所述卡緣連接器100的高速訊號傳輸品質及可靠性。所述兩對差分訊號對端子27之接觸部251在縱長方向上具有相同的寬度,即第一寬度W1,同時,所述一對接地端子28之接觸部251在縱長方向上也具有相同的寬度,即第二寬度W2。第二寬度W2小於第一寬度W1,即所述兩對差分訊號對端子27之接觸部251在縱長方向上的第一寬度W1大於所述一對接地端子28之接觸部251在縱長方向上的第二寬度W2,這有利於進一步降低所述相 鄰兩對差分訊號對端子27之間的諧振,從而可進一步改善所述卡緣連接器100的高頻性能。
綜上所述,本發明符合發明專利要件,爰依法提出專利申請。惟,以上所述者僅為本發明之較佳實施例,本發明之範圍並不以前述實施例為限,舉凡熟習本案技藝之人士援依本發明之精神所作之等效修飾或變化,皆應涵蓋於以下申請專利範圍內。

Claims (10)

  1. 一種卡緣連接器,定義有對接方向及對接面,所述卡緣連接器包括:絕緣本體,係縱長狀,定義有縱長方向並設有沿所述縱長方向延伸的中央插槽,所述中央插槽貫穿所述對接面;及複數導電端子,係固持於所述絕緣本體,所述導電端子設有固持於所述絕緣本體的固定部、自所述固定部延伸的彈性接觸臂及延伸出所述絕緣本體的焊接部,所述彈性接觸臂設有凸伸入所述中央插槽的接觸部;其中,所述複數導電端子包括沿所述縱長方向相鄰設置的兩對差分訊號對端子及位於該兩對差分訊號對端子之間的至少一個接地端子,在所述對接方向上,所述兩對差分訊號對端子的接觸部比所述接地端子的接觸部更靠近所述對接面。
  2. 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之卡緣連接器,其中在所述對接方向上,所述兩對差分訊號對端子之接觸部位於同一水平高度。
  3. 如申請專利範圍第2項所述之卡緣連接器,其中在所述縱長方向上,所述兩對差分訊號對端子之間設有兩個所述接地端子,在所述對接方向上,所述兩個接地端子之接觸部位於同一水平高度。
  4. 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之卡緣連接器,其中所述兩對差分訊號對端子之接觸部沿所述縱長方向具有相同的第一寬度,所述接地端子之接觸部沿所述縱長方向具有相同的第二寬度,所述第二寬度小於所述第一寬度。
  5. 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之卡緣連接器,其中所述複數導電端子之固定部沿所述縱長方向排成一排並位於同一平面內,所述複數導電端子之焊接部交替排列為兩排並分別位於所述固定部所在平面的 兩側。
  6. 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之卡緣連接器,其中所述絕緣本體設有位於所述中央插槽兩側且相對設置的第一側壁、第二側壁,及位於所述中央插槽的縱長方向一端用於連接所述第一、第二側壁的端壁,所述中央插槽縱長方向的另一端則貫通所述絕緣本體,從而與外部相連通。
  7. 如申請專利範圍第6項所述之卡緣連接器,其中所述中央插槽內形成有臨近所述端壁的鍵扣。
  8. 如申請專利範圍第7項所述之卡緣連接器,其中所述鍵扣在靠近所述對接面的一端設有導引斜面。
  9. 如申請專利範圍第6項所述之卡緣連接器,其中所述第一、第二側壁以及所述端壁在臨近所述對接面處均設有面向所述中央插槽的導引面。
  10. 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之卡緣連接器,其中在所述對接方向上,所述固定部的上緣位於同一高度。
