Description
本發明係有關植物病害防治方法。
根據美國第6,740,671號專利,已知N-(氰基-2-噻吩基甲基)-4-乙基-2-(乙胺基)-5-噻唑甲醯胺(N-(cyano-2-thienylmethyl)-4-ethyl-2-(ethylamino)-5-thiazolecarboxamide)(噻唑菌胺,ethaboxam)為殺真菌劑的活性成分。
本發明係提供植物病害防治方法,其特徵在於噻唑菌胺與基因轉殖植物的結合。根據本發明,將有效量的噻唑菌胺施用於基因轉殖植物,可提供改良的植物成苗率(plant stand establishment),對植物病害展現良好的防治效果。
噻唑菌胺可利用美國第6,740,671號專利所揭露的方法製備,在此將其揭示內容併入以供參考,且該噻唑菌胺亦可於市面上購得。
於本發明中,基因轉殖植物係定義為以重組DNA技術的方式進行轉形(transform)的植物。基因轉殖植物含有一或多個表現殺蟲蛋白(pesticidal protein)的基因,其係提供植物保護以對抗昆蟲及其他生物性的植物蟲害。基因轉殖植物可對殺蟲劑具抗性,尤其是某些類型的除草劑。基因轉殖植物能抵抗真菌、細菌或病毒的侵害。並且,基因轉殖植物可抵抗植物逆境,這是就農業而言有益的特徵,或者,基因轉殖植物可提供如高作物產量、強化的品質、長時間的儲存期及其他有用特性等的有益特徵。

基因轉殖植物內的毒素,具體而言,使植物具有對鞘翅目害蟲、雙翅目害蟲及鱗翅目害蟲的抗性。
能產生毒素之基因轉殖植物的典型實例包括:Yieldgard(孟山都註冊之商標,表現Cry1Ab毒素之玉米)、Yieldgard Rootworm(孟山都註冊之商標,表現Cry3Bb1毒素之玉米)、Yieldgard Plus(孟山都註冊之商標,表現Cry1Ab及Cry3Bb1毒素之玉米)、Herculex I(道氏農業科學(Dow AgroScience)註冊之商標,表現Cry1Fa2毒素及磷絲菌素N-乙醯基轉移酶(phosphinotricine N-acetyltransferase(PAT))而對固殺草具有抗性之玉米)、NuCOTN33B(表現Cry1Ac毒素之棉花)、Bollgard I(孟山都註冊之商標,表現Cry1Ac毒素之棉花)、Bollgard II(孟山都註冊之商標,表現Cry1Ac及Cry2Ab毒素之棉花)、VIPCOT(先正達(Syngenta)註冊之商標,表現VIP毒素之棉花)、NewLeaf(孟山都註冊之商標,表現Cry3A毒素之馬鈴薯)、Naturegard(先正達註冊之商標)、Agrisure GT Advantage(先正達註冊之商標,GA21抗嘉磷塞)及Agrisure CB Advantage(先正達註冊之商標,Btll玉米螟蟲(CB)抗性(cornborer resistance))。
基因轉殖植物所產生之抗微生物物質的實例包括PR蛋白(參照EP-392225A)。此等抗微生物物質及基因轉殖植物係說明於EP-0353191A,EP-0392225A及WO 95/33818。
於基因轉殖植物中表現之抗微生物物質的實例包括離子通道抑制劑,例如鈉離子通道抑制劑及鈣離子通道抑制劑(已知病毒會產生KP1、KP4及KP6等等毒素);二苯乙烯合成酶;聯苄合成酶;幾丁質酶;葡聚醣酶;PR蛋白、胜肽抗微生物劑(peptide antimicrobial);雜環類抗微生物劑;及與植物病害抗性有關的蛋白質因子(植物抗病基因(plant disease resistance gene),參照WO 03/00906)。
在本發明中,噻唑菌胺係施用於上述基因轉殖植物,包括:單子葉植物作物,例如玉米、小麥、大麥、黑麥、稻、高梁及草坪植物;及雙子葉植物作物,例如棉花、甜菜、花生、馬鈴薯、向日葵、大豆、苜蓿草、芥花籽油及蔬菜。並且,噻唑菌胺可施用於基因轉殖植物包括:蕎麥;甘蔗;菸草;茄科蔬菜(Solanaceae vegetables),如茄子、番茄、青椒及胡椒;葫蘆科蔬菜(Cucurbitaceae vegetables),如胡瓜、南瓜、美洲節瓜、西瓜、甜瓜及南瓜;十字花科蔬菜(Brassicaceae vegetables),如蘿蔔、蕪菁、辣根、球莖甘藍(kohlrabi)、中國甘藍菜、甘藍菜、大芥菜、青花菜及花椰菜;菊科蔬菜,如牛蒡、茼蒿、朝鮮薊及萵苣;百合科蔬菜(Liliaceae vegetables),如韭菜、洋蔥、蒜、蘆筍;繖形科蔬菜,如胡蘿蔔、歐芹、芹菜及防風草(parsnip);藜科蔬菜(Chenopodiaceae vegetables),如菠菜及甜菜(chard);唇形科蔬菜,如紫蘇、薄荷及九層塔等;草莓;蕃薯;山藥;芋頭;花,如;矮牽牛屬、牽牛花、康乃馨、菊花及薔薇;觀葉植物(Foliage plant);草坪植物;果樹,例如仁果類(如蘋果、梨木、日本梨木、木瓜及榲桲(quince)),核果類(如桃、李、油桃、梅、櫻桃、杏及洋李),柑橘類(如柑(Satsuma orange)、柳橙、檸檬、萊姆及葡萄柚),堅果類(tree nuts)(如栗、美洲胡桃、胡桃、榛果、杏仁、開心果、腰果及澳洲胡桃),漿果類如藍莓、蔓越莓、黑莓及覆盆子;葡萄;柿;橄欖;枇杷;香蕉;咖啡;棕櫚;椰子;其他樹種,例如茶樹、桑樹、觀花樹木與景觀樹木(如梣樹、樺樹、山茱萸、尤加利(eucalyptus)、銀杏、紫丁香、楓樹、橡樹、白楊樹、紫荊、楓香(Formosa sweet gum)、梧桐(sycamore)、日本櫸樹、羅漢柏、冷杉、日本鐵杉、杜松、松樹、雲杉、紫杉)。

本發明特別適用於卵菌引起之植物病害的防治,其對影響土壤(種子與根)及具有葉子之植物部份(foliage plant parts)的病害發生作用。典型的例子為馬鈴薯之馬鈴薯晚疫黴,菸草之菸草疫黴,大豆之大豆疫菌,葡萄之葡萄單軸黴,萵苣之露菌病菌,葫蘆科(Cucurbitaceae plant family)之古巴假霜黴,向日葵之向日葵露菌病菌,以及,由腐黴菌屬、露菌病真菌(downy mildew fungi)、及根腐病菌(Aphanomyces spp.)所引起之玉米、棉花、大豆、高梁、甜菜、及草坪植物的植物病害。
於本發明中,噻唑菌胺可直接施用,但其通常係進一步與固體載劑,液體載劑,氣體載劑,界面活性劑,視需要的輔劑如黏著劑、分散劑及安定劑等混合調配,以形成可濕性粉劑、水可分散性粒劑、懸浮濃縮劑、粉劑、粒劑、乾懸浮劑(dry flowables)、乳劑、水性液體製劑(aqueous liquid formulations)、乳化液(oil solutions)、煙燻製劑(smoking formulations)、氣霧劑或微膠囊等製劑。噻唑菌胺於製劑中的含量,通常為0.1至99重量%,較佳為0.2至90重量%。
固體載劑之實例包括下述之細粉及顆粒:黏土,例如高嶺土、矽藻土、矽石、富巴沙黏土(Fubasami clay)、膨潤土及白土;滑石;及其他無機礦物,例如絹雲母、石英、硫、活性碳、碳酸鈣及合成性水合矽石。液體載劑之實例包括水;醇類,例如甲醇及乙醇;酮類,例如丙酮及乙基甲基酮;芳香族烴類,例如苯、甲苯、二甲苯、乙苯及甲基萘;脂肪族烴類,例如己烷、環己烷及煤油;酯類,例如醋酸乙酯及醋酸丁酯;腈類,例如乙腈及丁腈;醚類,例如二烷及二異丙醚;醯胺類,例如二甲基甲醯胺及二甲基乙醯胺;及鹵化烴類,例如二氯乙烷、三氯乙烯及四氯化碳。
界面活性劑之實例包含硫酸烷基酯類、烷基磺酸鹽類、烷基芳基磺酸鹽類、烷基芳基醚類及其聚氧伸乙基化產物(polyoxyethylenated product)、聚氧基伸乙二醇醚類(polyoxyethylene glycol ether)、多元醇酯類及糖醇衍生物。
其他輔劑之實例包含黏著劑及分散劑,例如酪蛋白、明膠、多醣類(如澱粉、阿拉伯膠、纖維素衍生物、藻酸)、木質素衍生物、膨潤土、醣類、合成之水溶性聚合物(如聚乙烯醇、聚乙烯吡咯啶酮、聚丙烯酸酯)、PAP(酸式磷酸異丙酯(isopropyl acid phosphate))、BHT(2,6-二-第三丁基-4-甲基酚)、BHA(2-第三丁基-4-甲氧基酚與3-第三丁基-4-甲氧基酚之混合物)、植物油、礦物油、脂肪酸及脂肪酸酯類。
本發明中噻唑菌胺的施用方法並不受限,且可使用任何方法,例如,施用於植物的葉子、土壤施用之處理方式、以及種子處理漿料與種子塗覆方式之施用。
對植物的施用可以葉子施用(foliar application)的方式施用於具有葉子的部份,或以噴灑、塗抹等方式施用於樹幹。
土壤處理,是藉由施用於土壤或施用於土壤內(土壤混扮,soil incorporation)的方式實現,或利用噴灑、滴灌(dripping)、澆灌(drenching)、及混合(mixing)等方式而藉由施用於水田水的方式實現,例如,土壤注入處理(soil injection treatment)(與土壤混合或不與土壤混合之扎洞施用(pricking-in hole application))、沿溝處理(in-furrow treatment)(與土壤混合或不與土壤混合之分期施用(lay-by application)、分期施用於水田水(lay-by application into paddy water))、土壤注入溝洫處理(soil injection ditch treatment)(與土壤混合或不與土壤混合之土壤注入的溝洫施用)、列處理(row treatment)(與土壤混合或不與土壤混合之播種前列處理、成長階段之列處理)、全面處理(overall treatment)(全面性土壤施用(overall soil application)、播種前之全面性土壤混合施用(overall soil-mixing application))、株間處理(inter-plant treatment)、畦處理(ridge treatment)、溝處理(furrow treatment)、苗床處理(苗床施用於土壤或施用於水中)、苗箱處理(nursery tray treatment)(苗箱施用於土壤或施用於水中)。尤其以沿溝噴灑施用(in-furrow spray application)及土壤噴灑施用為較佳。前者係於栽植時施用於水或液態肥料,並於種子被覆蓋前噴灑於種子上方的溝(furrow over the seed)或覆蓋種子的土壤。後者則是於栽植時施用於水或液態肥料,並噴灑於土壤。
種子處理係利用噴灑處理、滴灌處理、澆灌處理、塗抹處理、膜衣處理(film-coat treatment)及顆粒包衣處理(pellet-coat treatment)等,施用於種子、種子塊莖(seed tuber)、球莖及插條(plant-cutting)等。尤其以漿料方式(slurry method)為佳,其係將置於載體(水)內之物,以對該作物為特定的預定施用速度投遞給種子。漿料之施用係可於對種子進行漿料噴灑同時翻滾種子,或可利用其他任何處理種子的設備。再者,可於水耕時將本發明之噻唑菌胺施用於培養液。
本發明之噻唑菌胺可與其它殺真菌劑、殺蟲劑、殺蟎劑、殺線蟲劑、除草劑、植物生長控制劑、肥料及土壤改良劑(soil-improving agent)等形成混合物而施用,或可與上述者並用但不與之混合。
噻唑菌胺之施用投遞,係取決於天候狀況、劑型、施用時間、施用方法、病害種類及作物需求等,且其通常為每1000平方公尺(m2)1至500公克(g),較佳為2至200公克。乳劑、可濕性粉劑或懸浮濃縮物等通常以水加以稀釋而施用。噻唑菌胺之濃度通常為0.0005至2重量%,較佳為0.0005至1重量%。粉劑或粒劑等之施用則通常不經過稀釋。將噻唑菌胺施用於種子時,其用量為每100公斤(kg)種子0.001至25公克,較佳為1.0至10.0公克。
下文將藉例示性之調配例及試驗例詳細說明本發明。於實施例中,份意指重量份。
將3又3/4(3.75)份的噻唑菌胺、14份聚氧伸乙基苯乙烯基苯基醚(polyoxyethylene styrylphenyl ether)、6份十二烷基苯磺酸鈣(calcium dodecylbenzenesulfonate)及76.25份二甲苯混勻以獲得乳劑。
將十(10)份的噻唑菌胺、35份的沉澱矽石與聚氧伸乙基烷基醚硫酸銨(polyoxyethylene alkyl ether sulfate ammonium)混合物(重量比為1:1)、及55份的水混勻及充分進行濕式研摩(finely wet-pulverized),以獲得懸浮製劑(flowable formulation)。
加入十五(15)份的噻唑菌胺、1.5份三油酸山梨醇酐(sorbitan trioleate)與28.5份含2份聚乙烯醇之水溶液、及45份含0.05份三仙膠及0.1份矽酸鋁鎂之水溶液,接著,加入10份丙二醇,經攪拌及混合以獲得懸浮製劑。
將五(5)份的噻唑菌胺、1份合成性水合矽石、2份木質素磺酸鈣(calcium ligninsulfonate)、30份膨潤土及62份高嶺土充分混合及研磨、和水揉捏、造粒及烘乾以獲得粒劑。
將五十(50)份的噻唑菌胺、3份木質素磺酸鈣、2份月桂基硫酸鈉、及45份合成性水合矽石充分混合及研磨,以獲得可濕性粉劑。
將三(3)份的噻唑菌胺、85份高嶺土及10份滑石充分混合及研磨,以獲得粉劑。
將調製為懸浮濃縮劑(flowable concentrate)用以進行種子處理的噻唑菌胺添加於水中,以使施用於特定量種子的全數漿料能夠投遞指定濃度(噻唑菌胺/100公斤種子)的噻唑菌胺。將製備好的漿料施用於非基因轉殖玉米種子,並且施用於同時具備嘉磷塞抗性及根蟲抗性(rootworm resistance)的基因轉殖玉米種子。於一苗箱中置入Kimpack(具吸收性的纖維填料,金百利克拉克(Kimberly-Clark)註冊之商標)並使其濕潤。各個不同處理速度的各種玉米種子類型係置於Kimpack上且以土壤覆蓋,該土壤係受腐黴屬菌感染的野外土壤與砂的1:1混合物。在10℃下維持土壤濕潤14天後,將該些苗箱移至18℃下11天。觀察幼苗出土的比例(%)以研究腐黴菌屬病害的防治效果。結果係列於表1。
對腐黴屬菌病害顯示了良好的防治結果,且如表1所示,相對於非基因轉殖幼苗,基因轉殖幼苗表現了較大的成苗率(seedling stand establishment)。
將調製為懸浮濃縮劑用以進行種子處理的噻唑菌胺添加於水中,以使施用於特定量種子的全數漿料能夠投遞指定濃度的噻唑菌胺。將製備好的漿料施用於非基因轉殖玉米種子,並且施用於同時具備嘉磷塞抗性及根蟲抗性的基因轉殖玉米種子。處理過的種子係於腐黴屬菌最活躍的早春之野外條件下栽植。於栽植後7及14天(7及14DAP)檢測出土率(%),並紀錄於表2。
對玉米之腐黴屬菌幼苗病害顯示了良好的防治結果,且如表2所示,於野外條件下栽植時,相對於非基因轉殖幼苗,基因轉殖幼苗表現了較大的成苗率。
執行與試驗例2相同的程序,除了將玉米種子換成表現蘇力菌內毒素及嘉磷塞抗性之棉花種子。終極腐黴菌引起的病害為基因轉殖玉米所減輕。基因轉殖棉花源(transgenic cotton source),相較於非基因轉殖棉花,提供了較高的野外成苗率(表3)。
Claims (9)
- 一種防治植物病害的方法,包括將有效量之N-(氰基-2-噻吩基甲基)-4-乙基-2-(乙胺基)-5-噻唑甲醯胺施用於基因轉殖植物種子,該有效量為每100公斤種子施用0.001至25公克,其中,該基因轉殖植物係玉米或大豆,以及該基因轉殖植物具嘉磷塞抗性或固殺草抗性。
