Abstract
一種多層板,其具有:包含甲基丙烯酸樹脂的層、與包含聚碳酸酯樹脂的層,其中該甲基丙烯酸樹脂係含有90質量%以上之來自甲基丙烯酸甲酯、甲基丙烯酸多環脂肪族烴酯等之甲基丙烯酸酯之結構單元的玻璃轉移溫度120~180℃的甲基丙烯酸樹脂。
Description
本發明係關於多層板。更詳言之,本發明係關於表面性良好、可抑制因殘留應力所致之翹曲產生、且適用於觸控面板的保護覆層(protective cover)等的多層板。
觸控面板(或觸控螢幕)係與顯示裝置及位置輸入裝置組合之電子零件。藉由以手指或筆接觸觸控面板而可操作電子機器。觸控面板係使用於銀行等金融機構的ATM、自動販賣機、行動電話、攜帶型資訊終端機(PDA)、數位聲訊播放機、攜帶型遊戲機、平板型個人電腦、影印機、傳真機、汽車導航系統等之數位資訊機器等。
藉觸控面板之輸入操作會有擦傷表面、壓壞內部之情形。為防止此情形,在觸控面板的表面設置透明保護覆層。主要係使用強化玻璃製之物作為保護覆層。又,從加工性、輕量化的觀點而言,正在進行透明樹脂製之保護覆層的開發。該保護覆層係要求光澤、耐擦傷性、耐衝撃性等。
此外,聚碳酸酯樹脂為適用於獲得優異耐衝撃性之成形品的樹脂之一。甲基丙烯酸樹脂為用於獲得高光澤且耐擦傷性優異之成形品的樹脂之一。又,藉由將聚碳酸酯樹脂與甲基丙烯酸樹脂同時加熱熔融成形(例如共擠出成形),可製造包含由聚碳酸酯樹脂構成之層與由甲基丙烯酸樹脂構成之層的多層板。在樹脂的加熱熔融成形中,於所得成形品中殘留不少之應變應力(strain stress)。殘留在該成形品中的應變應力稱之為殘留應力,具有該殘留應力之成形品會因熱等而產生翹曲或收縮。如上述多層板般,在板狀成形品中,尤其是起因於殘留應力之翹曲會成為問題。作為減少板狀成形品中之殘留應力、抑制翹曲發生的方法之一,已知藉由調整用於擠出成形之冷卻輥的旋轉速度之方法(參照專利文獻1)。

在多層板中,殘留在各樹脂層之應力程度相異。因此,即使試著藉由調整冷卻輥的旋轉速度來減少殘留應力,仍會在從冷卻輥剝離成形品時,於成形品表面產生稱之為顫痕(chatter mark)的線狀缺陷,而有表面性降低的情況。此為將該多層板使用於觸控面板的保護覆層等方面之課題。
本發明之目的為提供一種表面性良好、可抑制起因於殘留應力之翹曲產生之適用於觸控面板的保護覆層等之多層板。
本發明人等為達成上述目的而進行鑽研探討,結果發現包含以下態樣之本發明。
亦即,本發明包含以下態樣。
〔1〕一種多層板,其具有
包含含有90質量%以上之來自甲基丙烯酸酯的結構單元之玻璃轉移溫度120~180℃的甲基丙烯酸樹脂的層、與包含聚碳酸酯樹脂的層。
〔2〕如〔1〕所記載之多層板,其中前述甲基丙烯酸樹脂含有40~90質量%之來自甲基丙烯酸甲酯的結構單元。
〔3〕如〔1〕或〔2〕所記載之多層板,其中前述甲基丙烯酸樹脂含有10~60質量%之來自式(I)所示之甲基丙烯酸酯(稱為甲基丙烯酸酯(I))的結構單元。
(式(I)中的Cy係表示脂環式烴基。)
〔4〕如〔3〕所記載之多層板,其中式(I)中的Cy為多環脂肪族烴基。
本發明之多層板係表面性良好且抑制起因於殘留應力之翹曲發生。又,本發明之多層板適用於要求光澤、耐擦傷性及耐衝撃性之觸控面板保護覆層。
本發明之多層板係具有:包含甲基丙烯酸樹脂之層(以下有時稱為甲基丙烯酸樹脂層)、與包含聚碳酸酯樹脂之層(以下有時稱為聚碳酸酯樹脂層)者。
構成甲基丙烯酸樹脂層的甲基丙烯酸樹脂,其玻璃轉移溫度的下限通常為120℃、較佳為125℃、更佳為130℃,且其玻璃轉移溫度的上限通常為180℃、較佳為165℃、更佳為155℃、進一步較佳為150℃。若甲基丙烯酸樹脂的玻璃轉移溫度在此範圍內,則表面性良好且光澤、耐擦傷性及耐衝撃性亦為優異。
該甲基丙烯酸樹脂係含有來自甲基丙烯酸酯之結構單元者。來自甲基丙烯酸酯之結構單元的含量通常為90質量%以上、較佳為95質量%以上、更佳為98質量%以上、最佳為100質量%。來自甲基丙烯酸酯之結構單元的含量若在上述範圍內時,則光澤良好。
此甲基丙烯酸酯係以式(II)表示。
(式(II)中,R係表示烴基。烴基可為飽和烴基,亦可為不飽和烴基。
R所示之烴基可為甲基、乙基、丙基等之非環狀脂肪族烴基,亦可為脂環式烴基,亦可為苯基等之芳香族烴基。在此,R為脂環式烴基的情況下則為甲基丙烯酸酯(I)。
作為甲基丙烯酸酯(I),可舉出甲基丙烯酸環己酯、甲基丙烯酸環戊酯、甲基丙烯酸環庚酯等之甲基丙烯酸單環脂肪族烴酯;甲基丙烯酸2-降莰酯、甲基丙烯酸2-甲基-2-降莰酯、甲基丙烯酸2-乙基-2-降莰酯、甲基丙烯酸2-異莰酯、甲基丙烯酸2-甲基-2-異莰酯、甲基丙烯酸2-乙基-2-異莰酯、甲基丙烯酸8-三環[5.2.1.02,6]癸酯、甲基丙烯酸8-甲基-8-三環[5.2.1.02,6]癸酯、甲基丙烯酸8-乙基-8-三環[5.2.1.02,6]癸酯、甲基丙烯酸2-金剛烷酯、甲基丙烯酸2-甲基-2-金剛烷酯、甲基丙烯酸2-乙基-2-金剛烷酯、甲基丙烯酸1-金剛烷酯、甲基丙烯酸2-葑酯、甲基丙烯酸2-甲基-2-葑酯或甲基丙烯酸2-乙基-2-葑酯等之甲基丙烯酸多環脂肪族烴酯;等。其中,以甲基丙烯酸多環脂肪族烴酯為較佳、以甲基丙烯酸8-三環[5.2.1.02,6]癸酯為更佳。
用於本發明之甲基丙烯酸樹脂較佳為含有來自甲基丙烯酸甲酯之結構單元與來自甲基丙烯酸酯(I)之結構單元,更佳為來自甲基丙烯酸甲酯之結構單元與來自甲基丙烯酸多環脂肪族烴酯之結構單元,進一步更佳為含有來自甲基丙烯酸甲酯之結構單元與來自甲基丙烯酸8-三環[5.2.1.02,6]癸酯之結構單元。
從硬度之觀點而言,用於本發明之甲基丙烯酸樹脂較佳為含有40~90質量%之來自甲基丙烯酸甲酯之結構單元,更佳為含有50~80質量%,進一步更佳為含有60~70質量%。
從使玻璃轉移溫度為120~180℃之範圍之觀點及從吸濕性之觀點而言,用於本發明之甲基丙烯酸樹脂較佳為含有10~60質量%來自甲基丙烯酸酯(I)之結構單元,更佳為含有20~50質量%,進一步更佳為含有30~40質量%。藉由含有10~60質量%來自甲基丙烯酸酯(I)之結構單元,甲基丙烯酸樹脂的玻璃轉移溫度及吸濕性變得與聚碳酸酯樹脂大約相同,所以抑制起因於殘留應力及吸濕之多層板翹曲的效果更為提高。來自甲基丙烯酸酯(I)之結構單元超過60質量%時,會有甲基丙烯酸樹脂層的耐衝撃性降低之傾向。
用於本發明之甲基丙烯酸樹脂中,為使耐衝撃性、耐光性等提升,亦可含公知之添加劑。作為添加劑,可舉出抗氧化劑、抗熱劣化劑、紫外線吸收劑、光穩定劑、潤滑劑、脫模劑、高分子加工助劑、抗靜電劑、難燃劑、染顏料、光擴散劑、有機色素、消艷劑、耐衝撃性改質劑、螢光體等。
就用於本發明之聚碳酸酯樹脂而言,關於其製法並沒有特別限制。例如,可舉出使二價苯酚與碳酸酯前驅物界面聚縮合而得者;以藉由熔融酯交換法之反應而得者;藉由固相酯交換法使碳酸酯預聚物反應而得者;使環狀碳酸酯化合物開環聚合而得者等。
用於本發明之聚碳酸酯樹脂,其熔體體積流動速率(melt volume flow rate,MVR)較佳為2~22(cm3/10分鐘)。MVR若在此範圍內,則加熱熔融成形的穩定性良好。
用於本發明之聚碳酸酯樹脂較佳為其玻璃轉移溫度與甲基丙烯酸樹脂的玻璃轉移溫度大約相同。具體而言,聚碳酸酯樹脂之玻璃轉移溫度與甲基丙烯酸樹脂之玻璃轉移溫度的差△Tg較佳為30℃以下、更佳為20℃以下。若兩者之玻璃轉移溫度大約相同,則抑制起因於殘留應力之翹曲產生的效果會更為提高。
用於本發明之聚碳酸酯樹脂中,為使耐光性等提升,亦可含公知之添加劑。作為添加劑,可舉出抗氧化劑、抗熱劣化劑、紫外線吸收劑、光穩定劑、潤滑劑、脫模劑、高分子加工助劑、抗靜電劑、難燃劑、染顏料、光擴散劑、有機色素、消艷劑、耐衝撃性改質劑、螢光體等。
本發明之多層板中的層結構並無特別限制。例如,可舉出甲基丙烯酸樹脂層/聚碳酸酯樹脂層、甲基丙烯酸樹脂層/聚碳酸酯樹脂層/甲基丙烯酸樹脂層、聚碳酸酯樹脂層/甲基丙烯酸樹脂層/聚碳酸酯樹脂層、甲
基丙烯酸樹脂層/聚碳酸酯樹脂層/甲基丙烯酸樹脂層/聚碳酸酯樹脂層/甲基丙烯酸樹脂層等之層結構。
將本發明之多層板作為保護覆層使用時,較佳為從被保護的面(被保護面)看而使甲基丙烯酸樹脂層位於最外側的方式配置使用。因此,例如較佳為將包含甲基丙烯酸樹脂層/聚碳酸酯樹脂層之層結構的多層板配置成甲基丙烯酸樹脂層/聚碳酸酯樹脂層/被保護面的順序來使用,將包含甲基丙烯酸樹脂層/聚碳酸酯樹脂層/甲基丙烯酸樹脂層之層結構的多層板配置為甲基丙烯酸樹脂層/聚碳酸酯樹脂層/甲基丙烯酸樹脂層/被保護面的順序來使用。
本發明之多層板,其厚度(總厚度)較佳為0.4~2mm、更佳為0.5~1.5mm、進一步較佳為1.0~1.5mm。若過薄則有剛性不足的傾向。若過厚則有妨礙液晶顯示裝置等之輕量化的傾向。
又,本發明之多層板係在多層板的總厚度為T(μm)、甲基丙烯酸樹脂層的厚度為d(μm)、及聚碳酸酯樹脂之玻璃轉移溫度與甲基丙烯酸樹脂之玻璃轉移溫度的差為△Tg(℃)的情況下,由表面性優異、抑制起因於殘留應力之翹曲發生、且平衡良好地提高表面硬度、耐衝撃性及輕量性之觀點而言,△Tg.d.T-1之值為3.0(℃)以下為較佳、2.8(℃)以下為更佳、2.5(℃)以下為進一步更佳。
在本發明之多層板中,甲基丙烯酸樹脂層的厚度較佳為20~140μm、更佳為25~100μm、進一步較佳為25~70μm。
又,關於本發明之多層板,甲基丙烯酸樹脂層的厚度相對於多層板的總厚度之比例(d.T-1)較佳為0.04~0.20、更佳為0.05~0.18、進一步較佳為0.06~0.15。若使甲基丙烯酸樹脂層的厚度之比例在上述範圍內,則可抑制起因於殘留應力之翹曲發生、且有使表面硬度、耐衝撃性及輕量化之平衡變得更為良好之傾向。
本發明之多層板的製造方法並無特別限制,惟,從生產性之觀點而言,較佳為聚碳酸酯樹脂與甲基丙烯酸樹脂之共擠出成形。
以下例示實施例而更詳細地說明本發明。但,本發明不因其實施例而有任何限定。
依照以下方法測定樹脂及多層板的物性。
用示差掃瞄熱量計(「DSC-50」,Rigaku股份有限公司製),依照JIS-K7121,以鋁盤(aluminum pan)密封10mg樹脂,在10ml/min的氮氣流中、10℃/min之條件下進行測定。在本說明書係將JIS-K7121所決定的中間點玻璃轉移溫度定義為玻璃轉移溫度。
使用熔融指數儀(melt indexer)(「TAKARA L241-153」、Techno7股份有限公司製),依照JIS-K7210進行測定。
將以共擠出成形獲得之多層板切出500mm×500mm的大小作成試驗板。
在平行於試驗板之成形時擠出方向的一邊的1/3及2/3位置安裝懸吊用細線,藉由該懸吊用細線懸吊試驗板使得前述平行於擠出方向的一邊呈水平。在垂直於試驗板之成形時擠出方向的二邊之1/2位置拉伸測定用細線,測定該測定用細線之中點與試驗板表面的間隔距離。將其當作加熱前之翹曲量(mm)。
接著,將試驗板放入設定為預定溫度的恆溫器而放置24小時。然後,從恆溫器取出試驗板以與上述相同方法測定間隔距離。將其當作加熱後的翹曲量(mm)。又,恆溫器之溫度係設定為100℃或110℃,以該2個溫度條件分別進行試驗。
將加熱前之翹曲量與加熱後之翹曲量的差定義為加熱所致之翹曲變化量(mm)。
在設置螢光燈的室內以肉眼觀察多層板之甲基丙烯酸樹脂層側表面,用如下基準評價表面性。
○:在甲基丙烯酸樹脂層側表面沒看到顫痕。
△:雖然在甲基丙烯酸樹脂層側表面看到顫痕但不明顯。
×:在甲基丙烯酸樹脂層側表面有明顯顫痕。
依照JIS-K5600-5-4測定多層板的甲基丙烯酸樹脂層側表面,並以鉛筆硬度評價表面硬度。
將以擠出成形所得之多層板切出平行於擠出流向的邊為70mm、垂直於擠出流向的邊為100mm之長方形,製作試驗片。
將直徑30mm、質量112g之鋼球從1m的高度自由落下於試驗片之甲基丙烯酸樹脂層側表面的中央。肉眼觀察試驗片的破裂狀態,用以下基準評價耐衝撃性。
×:在試驗片的厚度方向產生貫穿之破裂。
○:在試驗片的厚度方向沒有貫穿之破裂。
準備藉由甲基丙烯酸甲酯與甲基丙烯酸8-三環[5.2.1.02,6]癸酯之自由基聚合所得的共聚物作為甲基丙烯酸樹脂。
又,甲基丙烯酸8-三環[5.2.1.02,6]癸酯在甲基丙烯酸甲酯與甲基丙烯酸8-三環[5.2.1.02,6]癸酯的合計量中所佔的調製比率(質量百分率)稱為TC比率。
準備住化Styron聚碳酸酯股份有限公司製「PCX」(MVR:8cm3/10分鐘(300℃/1.2kg)、玻璃轉移溫度:150℃)作為聚碳酸酯樹脂。
將TC比率35質量%之甲基丙烯酸樹脂(MVR:2cm3/10分鐘(230℃/3.8kg)、玻璃轉移溫度:130℃)與聚碳酸酯樹脂以速度4m/分鐘進行共擠出成形,而製得包含厚度70μm之甲基丙烯酸樹脂層與厚度930μm之聚碳酸酯樹脂層所成之總厚度1000μm的多層板。將評價結果示於表1。
除了使用TC比率20質量%之甲基丙烯酸樹脂(MVR:2cm3/10分鐘(230℃/3.8kg)、玻璃轉移溫度:120℃)代替TC比率35質量%之甲基丙烯酸樹脂以外,以與實施例1相同之手法製造多層板。將評價結果示於表1。
除了使用TC比率60質量%之甲基丙烯酸樹脂(MVR:2cm3/10分鐘(230℃/3.8kg)、玻璃轉移溫度:150℃)代替TC比率35質量%之甲基丙烯酸樹脂以外,以與實施例1相同之手法製造多層板。將評價結果示於表1。
除了變更甲基丙烯酸樹脂與聚碳酸酯樹脂之擠出量以外,以與實施例1相同的手法製造包含厚度20μm之甲基丙烯酸樹脂層與厚度980μm之聚碳酸酯樹脂層所成之總厚度1000μm的多層板。將評價結果示於表1。
除了變更甲基丙烯酸樹脂與聚碳酸酯樹脂之擠出量以外,以與實施例1相同的手法製造包含厚度25μm之甲基丙烯酸樹脂層與厚度975μm之聚碳酸酯樹脂層所成之總厚度1000μm的多層板。將評價結果示於表1。
除了變更甲基丙烯酸樹脂與聚碳酸酯樹脂的擠出量、與擠出輥間的間隔以外,以與實施例1相同的手法製造包含厚度70μm之甲基丙烯酸樹脂層與厚度430μm之聚碳酸酯樹脂層所成之總厚度500μm的多層板。將評價結果示於表1。
除了變更甲基丙烯酸樹脂與聚碳酸酯樹脂之擠出量以外,以與實施例1相同的手法製造包含厚度150μm之甲基丙烯酸樹脂層與厚度850μm之聚碳酸酯樹脂層所成之總厚度1000μm的多層板。將評價結果示於表1。
除了變更甲基丙烯酸樹脂與聚碳酸酯樹脂的擠出量、及擠出輥間的間隔以外,以與實施例1相同的手法製造包含厚度150μm之甲基丙烯酸樹脂層與厚度1350μm之聚碳酸酯樹脂層所成之總厚度1500μm的多層板。將評價結果示於表1。
除了變更甲基丙烯酸樹脂與聚碳酸酯樹脂之擠出量以外,以與實施例2相同地進行,製造包含厚度100μm之甲基丙烯酸樹脂層與厚度900μm之聚碳酸酯樹脂層所成之總厚度1000μm的多層板。將評價結果示於表2。
除了變更甲基丙烯酸樹脂與聚碳酸酯樹脂的擠出量、及擠出輥間之間隔以外,以與實施例2相同的手法製造包含厚度70μm之甲基丙烯酸樹脂層與厚度1430μm之聚碳酸酯樹脂層所成之總厚度1500μm的多層板。將評價結果示於表2。
除了變更甲基丙烯酸樹脂與聚碳酸酯樹脂之擠出量以外,以與實施例6相同的手法製造包含厚度
100μm之甲基丙烯酸樹脂層與厚度400μm之聚碳酸酯樹脂層所成之總厚度500μm的多層板。將評價結果示於表2。
除了變更甲基丙烯酸樹脂與聚碳酸酯樹脂的擠出量、及擠出輥間之間隔以外,以與實施例2相同的手法製造包含厚度25μm之甲基丙烯酸樹脂層與厚度475μm之聚碳酸酯樹脂層所成之總厚度500μm的多層板。將評價結果示於表2。
除了變更甲基丙烯酸樹脂與聚碳酸酯樹脂之擠出量以外,以與實施例12相同之手法製造包含厚度70μm之甲基丙烯酸樹脂層與厚度430μm之聚碳酸酯樹脂層所成之總厚度500μm的多層板。將評價結果示於表2。
除了變更甲基丙烯酸樹脂與聚碳酸酯樹脂的擠出量、及擠出輥間之間隔以外,以與實施例12相同的手法製造包含厚度150μm之甲基丙烯酸樹脂層與厚度1350μm之聚碳酸酯樹脂層所成之總厚度1500μm的多層板。將評價結果示於表2。
除了使用TC比率15質量%之甲基丙烯酸樹脂(MVR:2cm3/10分鐘(230℃/3.8kg)、玻璃轉移溫度:115℃)取代TC比率35質量%之甲基丙烯酸樹脂以外,以與實施例1相同之手法製造多層板。將評價結果示於表2。
除了使用甲基丙烯酸甲酯之均聚物(MVR:2cm3/10分鐘(230℃/3.8kg)、玻璃轉移溫度:103℃)取代TC比率35質量%之甲基丙烯酸樹脂以外,以與實施例1相同之手法製造多層板。將評價結果示於表2。
除了使用TC比率65質量%之甲基丙烯酸樹脂(MVR:2cm3/10分鐘(230℃/3.8kg)、玻璃轉移溫度:155℃)取代TC比率35質量%之甲基丙烯酸樹脂以外,欲以與實施例1相同的手法製造多層板,但在擠出成形中發生破裂而無法製造。
如以上結果所示,可知根據本發明,當使用含有90質量%以上之來自甲基丙烯酸酯之結構單元的玻璃轉移溫度120~180℃之甲基丙烯酸樹脂時,可得表面性優異且翹曲變化量小的多層板(參照實施例1、2或3與比較例1或2之對比)。在本發明之多層板中,若使甲
基丙烯酸樹脂層的厚度為25μm以上,則表面硬度變得更高,若使甲基丙烯酸樹脂層之厚度成為70μm以下,則耐衝撃性變得更高(參照實施例1、4、5、7及9)。可知在本發明之多層板中,甲基丙烯酸樹脂層之厚度之比例(d.T-1)大約相同時,若甲基丙烯酸樹脂層變薄則耐衝撃性更為提升(參照實施例6及7)。又,可知在本發明之多層板中,若△Tg.d.T-1之值變小,則尤其更可抑制在110℃下的翹曲(參照實施例6與11、實施例10與13、及實施例12與14之對比)。本發明之多層板尤其在總厚度T為1000μm~1500μm之範圍中可得同等之物性(參照實施例1及6與實施例2及10)。
本發明之多層板適用於觸控面板之保護覆層等。

- 一種多層板,其具有:包含含有90質量%以上之來自甲基丙烯酸酯之結構單元的玻璃轉移溫度120~180℃之甲基丙烯酸樹脂之層、與包含聚碳酸酯樹脂之層。
- 如請求項1之多層板,其中該甲基丙烯酸樹脂係含有40~90質量%之來自甲基丙烯酸甲酯之結構單元。
