Abstract
This invention provides a liquid crystal aligning agent comprising (A) polyamic acid obtained by reaction of tetracarboxylic dianhydride with a diamine compound and/or its imidated polymers, and (B-1) a compound having more than two oxetane ring in its molecule, or (B-2) a combination of a compound having more than two epoxy group in its molecule and a compound having more than two oxetane ring in its molecule. The liquid crystal aligning agent has high voltage retention rate and excellent reliability of voltage retention rate.
