Abstract
The invention selects a combination of vegetables and fruits, which comprise high contents of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, to prepare a juice and then cooks with rice without addition of water to allow rice to absorb and adsorb the contents in the juice. Such rice cooked in a vegetable and fruit juice, referred to as "juiced-up rice", may be used as a food or as an ingredient for preparing other food products.
