TiCh層和底質(Si 〇2)厚度會影響顏料的光學性質。必 須精確設定層厚度並與底質薄片的平均厚度相配伍。Ti〇2 層厚度以5-3 00奈米爲佳,1 0-200奈米較佳,特別是μι 50奈米。 根據本發明之顏料可以相當簡單的方法製自:在經精 密分割的薄片狀底質上形成具定義厚度和光滑表面的高折 射指數Ti〇2干擾層。此Ti02可爲金紅石形式或銳鈦形式 。此Ti02以金紅石修飾形式爲佳。特別佳者是經金紅石 層塗覆的Si02薄片。 適當底質是所有無機和有機透明材料,其爲經精密分 割之厚度分佈窄的薄片形式。適當有機底質特別是聚合物 ,如:聚酯(如:PET)、聚碳酸酯、聚醯亞胺和聚異丁烯 酸酯。 特別佳者是以Si02、A1203爲基礎的干擾材料,所有 具薄片狀外觀的單晶和經二氧化鈦薄層塗覆的玻璃薄片。
