The inner liner consists of a series of interlocking segments. Each of the segments has an inner surface, an outer surface, side edges, a leading edge, a rear edge, and two wings extending from the outer surface. The lateral edges of the segments have a groove, and the grooves of neighboring segments define a channel between the segments. A pin in the channel pushes the sandy slices apart to create a tight fit between the slices in one row of the shirt. The shape and size of the pin conforms to the cross section of the fins and is in line with the fins of adjacent segments to form a continuous spiral on the outer surface of the liner.
