Description

BASIC Auth. St. No. 73947 describes a method for producing a self-caking magnesite powder based on magnesite dust, which means that said dust is closed with a solution of magnesium chloride in order to produce concrete, which is crushed. The resulting crushed product is treated with an aqueous solution of an iron salt, and then with ammonia, in order to precipitate on the surface of iron hydroxide grains, after which the product is calcined.

The proposed method does not require the consumption of chemical reagents manufactured in enterprises of the chemical industry.

Это достигаетс  применением природного карналлита дл  получени  бетона из магнезитовой пыли взамен хлористого магни .This is achieved by using natural carnallite to produce concrete from magnesite dust instead of magnesium chloride.

The described method is as follows: a coating of finely ground iron ore, scale, or open-hearth slag is applied to the surface of grains of magnesite concrete. Carnallite is heated to 200 ° C before use, with the aim of splitting it into magnesium chloride and potassium chloride. The mixture of the obtained salts is dissolved in water and a solution is used to obtain concrete from magnesite dust. The caustic part of the magnesite dust reacts with the magnesium chloride solution to form Sorel cement, and the potassium chloride remains in the concrete as an impurity. The presence of potassium chloride, having a melting point of 768 ° C, contributes to the compaction of the concrete during further calcination. The magnesite concrete is made of powder-like material with rasiech-luchenchen. After-roasting of grains with sizes of 1-12 mm.

The method of obtaining self-caking magnesite powder according to ed. St. No. 73947, dated from the fact that carnallite was used as the material containing magnesium chloride, disintegrated with magnesium chloride and potassium chloride during the preliminary heating.
