Description

There are instruments in which the soil profile is determined by freely falling rods. In the proposed instrument, for the purpose of automatically recording a soil profile, a freely falling rod through a cord and two blocks is connected to a squeezing carriage and serves to move the latter along a rotating drum with a paper tape.

In the schematic drawing of FIG. depicts the front view of the device; FIG. 2 is a side view thereof, and FIG. 3 is a top view.

The device is mounted on plate I, equipped with three rollers 2, with which it can move along rail 3, with two rollers resting on the rail and the third covering it from below. A rod 4 is placed on the plate, which can freely move in a vertical direction along guide rollers and brackets 5. A lower arc 12 with a ball on the end of the semicircle is attached to the lower end of the rod 4. The rail 3 is made of a length of 3-3.5 m and, for convenience of carrying and storage, disassembled into several parts. The rail is mounted on pegs so that the end of the arc 12 of the rod rests on the ground. When the device is moved, the rod 4 is lowered or raised depending on the soil profile, and this movement is transmitted through cords 14 and 15 and blocks 7 and 13 of the writing carriage 8. When lifting the rod, the carriage is pulled by springs and keeps both cords in the tensioned position; when lowering the rod t there are no cords and moves the carriage. Together with the current, the drum is driven by the roller 2, so that a profile line is drawn on the drum. The subject matter of the invention. A device for automatically shooting a plowed soil profile, characterized in that, in order to move the writing device according to the soil profile, the free falling rod 4 is connected via cord 14 to a freely suspended unit 7, carrying a smaller unit 13, connected in turn by a slung through the blocks 16 of the cord 15 with the writing carriage 8 and serving to move the latter along the drum 11 with the paper tape, respectively, moving the rod 4 along the soil profile.
