1. Способ приготовления катализатора для получения элементарной серы из сероводородсодержащих газов в присутствии кислорода, включающий использование диоксида титана, соединения ванадия и оксида кремния, формование, термообработку, отличающийся тем, что, с целью увеличения активности, стабильности и механической прочности катализатора, в качестве соединения ванадия используют раствор оксалата ванадила, который смешивают с гелем или ксерогелем диоксида титана, полученную суспензию подвергают распылительной сушке, затем полученный продукт смешивают со связующим, содержащим 0,5-2,0%-ный раствор полиэтиленоксида и остальное - смесь, состоящая из золя оксида кремния и раствора оксалата ванадила, взятых в атомном соотношении Si:V, равном 1:6-29, формуют, сушат и подвергают термообработке при 450-500C.2.
