The exhaust silencer of the engine: the internal combustion bodies comprise a housing 1 with an inlet 2 and an exhaust 3 with nozzles and a sound attenuating element 4, the exhaust nozzle 3 in the lower part having an opening 5 communicating with the lower point of the housing 1, tapering, and the housing 1 at its lower point is provided with a recess 6 for accumulating condensate. The exhaust silencer works as follows.

The exhaust gas enters the muffler housing 1 through the inlet 2, expands and, in contact with relatively cold surfaces, condenses gradually accumulating at the lower point of the housing 1 or the recess 6, and then the exhaust gas enters the exhaust nipple 3, where its velocity increase-

and the pressure drops. Under the action of the pressure difference, condensate through the opening 5 or the tube 7 is sucked into the outlet 3 and together with the exhaust gases is ejected

in atmosphere. Making the outlet nozzle 3 at the location of the opening 5 constricted provides an additional pressure drop by the effect of the venturi,

SILENCER OF EXHAUST NOISE OF THE INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE, comprising a housing with inlet and outlet nozzles and a silencing element, characterized in that, in order to increase durability by removing condensate, the exhaust nozzle in the lower part is provided with an opening in communication with the lower point of the housing. 2. Silencer according to π. 1, characterized in that, in order to create a zone of reduced pressure by the effect of a venturi, the exhaust pipe at the location of the hole is made tapering. 3.
