Способ приготовления алюмокобальтмолибденового катализатора для гидроочистки бензинов путем двухстадийной обработки алюминийсодержащего носителя растворами активных компонентов - молибдата аммония и соединения кобальта - с введением на первой стадии 60 - 80 отн.% активных компонентов, на второй - 20 - 40 отн.% и при использовании в качестве соединения кобальта нитрата кобальта на первой стадии с сушкой и прокалкой после каждой стадии, отличающийся тем, что, с целью получения катализатора с повышенной активностью, на второй стадии в качестве соединения кобальта используют амминокомплекс кобальта.2.
