Устройство работает следующим образом .The device works as follows.

При введении вилки в розетку ручки 5 и при перемещении ручки 5 влево замыкаютс контакты 3 и 4. При перемещении же ручки 5 вправо замыкаютс контакты 2 и 4. При установке ручки в среднем положении обе цепи разорваны.
