Abstract

A nonwoven fabric for wipers is provided. Its ability to wipe off dirt including oily stains and persistent stains is excellent, and it well follows even three-dimensionally patterned faces of the articles to be wiped with it. Its feel is good and its washing resistance is good. The nonwoven fabric contains extra-fine fibers and is so designed that its surface includes linear and/or dot-like bonded regions and non-bonded regions, the bonded regions account for from 10 to 80% of the surface area of the nonwoven fabric and the distance between the neighboring bonded regions is at most 20 mm.
