(FIG. 1) “ELEVATOR BOARDING DETECTION SYSTEM” According to one embodiment, an elevator boarding detection system includes a capturing module (12) capable of capturing, when a car arrives at a hall, a 5 predetermined range from a vicinity to a door of the car to a direction of the hall, a passenger detector (22) detecting a passenger by using an image captured by the capturing module (12), a controller (31) controlling an open/close operation of the door, based 10 on a detection result of the passenger detector (22), a parameter acquisition module (23) acquiring a parameter of brightness adjustment from the capturing module (12), and an operation error prevention module (24) determining brightness of the captured image used by 15 the passenger detector (22), based on the parameter acquired by the parameter acquisition module (23), and performing processing of preventing an operation error of the passenger detector (22) in accordance with the determination result. 20
