Abstract
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize measurement insusceptible to fluctuation in the direction and speed of flow by providing the subject apparatus with a sensor having surface part formed on a cylindrical detecting surface and constituted to turn in a substance to be measured while touching. SOLUTION: This measuring apparatus comprises a drive unit 4, a shaft 5 and a sensor 6. The shaft 5 is fixed at predetermined positions through bearings 7 and the sensor 6 is positioned in a process pipe 1 such that the detecting surface thereof touches a substance flowing through the pipe 1. The sensor 6 is constructed to turn in the direction shown by an arrow through the drive unit 4. The sensor 6 is formed such that the concentration of process substance to be measured will be proportional to the torque being measured by a measuring element 8.
