Abstract
The fluid-impermeable outer layer (1) is connected in a peripheral direction with the inner layer (2) and has adhesive parts (7) for releasably holding the absorbent article in place against the textile of the briefs during use. The absorbent article can be folded before and/or after use for exposing only the fluid impermeable outer layer. The adhesive parts for releasably maintaining the absorbent article in place during use are arranged only to adhere to the soft textile material and to adhere releasably the textile inner layer when the article is folded together. The absorbent article is divided by two fold lines which run across its longitudinal centre line, thus forming three sections. At least one of the adhered parts is arranged on the outer casing (1) on the first end section and adheres the outer layer soft textile in the absorbent article second end section when the first section is folded in over the intermediate section inner layer and the second end section is then folded over the folded-in first end section.
