Abstract

Connector comprising two parts which can be taken apart and put together in the form of a pin part 2 and a socket part where the socket part consists of a casing 26 and a cover 27. In the pin part a number of pins 5 are arranged, the first end 24 of which are electrically connected at the joining of the part with a corresponding socket contact 36, 46 in the socket part and the other end 25 of which is soldered to a circuit board. The pins are arranged in three rows 7-9 and two adjacent pins in a row are electrically connected. The socket part is available in two versions, one for screw terminal connection and securing plate connection and one for only securing plate connection. For both types of connection it is possible to make double connections. In the casing there are a number of first compartments 33 for taking the screw terminals 31 and/or securing plates 32 provided with socket contacts. There are also a number of second compartments 34 designed only to take securing plates. Cables intended for screw terminals are inserted in the socket part stripped 45 while cables intended for securing plates are inserted provided with socket contacts 47. In the cover there are arranged different connection holes 53, 55 for taking cables provided with socket contacts or stripped cables. <IMAGE>
