Abstract

The napkin includes a triangular piece and an absorbent inlay, both for single or multiple use. Both items have a front end part which fits during use on the front of the user, and a rear end part which fits on the back of the user. A branch part is provided between the front and rear end parts. The triangular piece has at least one hole in at least its one end part, and the absorbent part is likewise provided with at least one hole. The position of the holes in the end parts is such that in the triangular piece wholly or partly overlaps that in the inlay when fitted in the triangular piece. Fastening components are fitted through the overlapping holes to anchor the inlay in the triangular piece, and are also provided with means for fastening the latter to the user. Holes are provided in at least two corner parts of the triangular piece and in at least two corner parts of the corresp. end part or parts of the inlay.
