Abstract

Glazing bar arrangement for overlying a pane of glass (3) in windows or doors, comprising at least one horizontal and one vertical glazing bar element (6, 7) preferably formed as hollow profiles and joined together at a cross-joint (10) to form a connected glazing bar assembly (9). The glazing bar assembly (9) is removably located in a frame (4) which surrounds the pane of glass (3) at least partially by a snap connector (12). The invention is particularly distinguished by the fact that a connection part (15, 16) is integrally formed in each glazing bar element (6, 7). Said connection part (15, 16) extends through substantially the whole length of the glazing bar element (6, 7). The connection part (15, 16) at an end region (21) of the glazing bar element (6, 7) provides one part of said snap connector (12). Said connection part (15, 16) further provides a part of a further snap connector (37) located in said cross-joint (10) between the vertical and the horizontal glazing bar element (6, 7). <IMAGE>
