Abstract

A glazed roof or a glazed wall which consists of a bearing skeleton (1) and, mounted thereon, glass panes (2), in particular multiple glass panes (2), is provided with a tiltable window. In the place of the tiltable window (4), there is mounted on the skeleton components (1) concerned, instead of a glass pane (2), a fixed frame (3) which is angled in cross-section and on which a tiltable frame (5) which forms the tiltable window (4) is articulated, with, inserted in it, a glass pane (6). One angle leg (31) of the fixed-frame cross-section abuts with its free end (17) against the skeleton component (1, 7) and the other angle leg (32) extends at a spacing above the skeleton component (1, 7) and holds the respectively adjacent glass pane. The fixed frame (3) and the tiltable frame (9) lie with the same width as the skeleton component (1) exactly above the latter, i.e. in the case of a glazed roof above the rafters and purlins and in the case of a glazed wall in front of the posts and crossbars. The glass pane of the tiltable window, which has previously been smaller, thus has the same dimensions as the fixed glass panes and fits in a trouble-free manner into the picture of the glazed areas. <IMAGE>
