Abstract

Kit of parts for a shaft seal, in particular at a stern tube of a ship, comprising a first support ring 1 fixed relative to the housing, a second support ring 2 fixed relative to the housing and a sealing ring 6 of rubber-elastic material which can be clamped between the two support rings and which consists of a clamping part 9 and a hinge-like intermediate part (membrane) 8 which adjoins the latter and carries a sealing lip 7, with the first support ring having a hollow cavity 3 matched to the clamping part 9 of the sealing ring 6 into which the clamping part of the sealing ring is insertable, and with the second support ring 2 having an axially projecting clamping web 13 with which it clamps the clamping part. <IMAGE>
