Abstract
The invention relates to equipment for producing low-alkali cement clinker and concerns the field of cement production by the dry process and semidry process. The aim of the invention is a simple and inexpensive plant, by means of which low-alkali cement clinker can be produced at high productivity and without pollution, which plant converts the waste products arising into a utilisable form and allows utilisation of secondary heat. This aim is fulfilled by achieving the object of developing a plant, in which harmful constituents, in particular alkali compounds, are removed from the flue gases of cement clinker-burning plants. According to the invention, this takes place by arranging a water jet reactor operated with scrubbing fluid on a flue gas discharged point between the preheater and the rotary kiln of cement clinker-burning plants. After the gas discharge, intensive heat exchange and mass transfer between the scrubbing fluid and the flue gas discharged by means of vacuum then takes place. To the water jet reactor, a receiver vessel is connected in which the mixture of scrubbing fluid and remaining moist flue gas is separated, the solid constituents precipitating. Downstream of the receiver vessel, a sludge precipitator is provided.
