An automatic valve (1) assembly for draining condensate in compressed air systems, comprises electric means (8, 10) for detecting water in a condensate collecting tank; the said means activating an electrovalve (5) for draining off the said condensate when the liquid level exceeds a predetermined valve. <IMAGE>
