Abstract

The composite wood/aluminium window has a wooden frame (1) and a covering aluminium frame (2). The aluminium profiles are attached to the wooden frame (1) via plastic holders (3). The aluminium profiles are equipped with an anchoring groove (4) which is open towards the wooden frame (1) and is equipped with edge strips (5). These edge strips have channels (6) which are formed by an accumulation (7) of material. The hammer head (10) is equipped with a sprung tongue (15) whose free end engages in the channel (6) in the mounted limit position of the holder (3). As a result, the locked position is indicated to the fitter since further rotational movement of the plastic holders is opposed by increased resistance. The resistance is also indicated acoustically by means of an audible snapping of the free end of the tongue (15) into the channel (6). <IMAGE>
