Abstract

A supporting structure for shelving which comprises a horizontal shelf support member 6, 7 and an upright member 1 having slots along its length for the insertion of a hook portion 10 of the horizontal member, wherein additional toggle member 16 is pivotally mounted with respect to horizontal support member 6, 7 and can be urged in a clockwise direction by means of a bolt 17. The toggle member 16 has a hook portion 21 which is insertable into a lower slot in upright member 1, the toggle member then being locked in position with respect to the upright member 1 and the horizontal member 6, 7 by turning the bolt 17. <IMAGE>
