Abstract

A seat comprising a substantially upright elongate member (2) having a base member (6) at the lower end thereof and a supporting strut (3), a slide (4) slidably mounted on the elongate member (2) and selectively fixable thereon in one of a plurality of positions therealong by locking means (26), and a seat support (15) connected to the slide (4) and comprising an arm supporting a seating surface (16). Strut (3) is foldable against member (2) and support (15) is pivoted to slide (4). <IMAGE>
